Call cruise is this Sunday on the magic out of Miami. I have an OGT room, and I have been assigned our room number. I'm happy with the room but I'm considering upgrading to a veranda. Never done it before and I have some questions.

Am I allowed to upgrade with an OGT?

Will the price be at today's rates or the rate of the date of booked up?

Should I get there earlier than my phe to see if I can get an upgrade?

Yes, you can upgrade an OGT.

The price difference you pay will be between the lowest price of an Oceanview room to the price they are charging at the port for the verandah.

Getting there early could help. Can't say for sure.

I haven't upgraded in Miami, but I have in Port Canaveral, Copenhagen and San Juan.

It works exactly like it would at home (Port Canaveral). Be early, check in, go immediately to the supervisors desk and see what kind of deal you can score. Have a good trip.
