Upgrading 3 day ticket?

Boring question, but could use some help. Bought a FL resident 3 day base ticket ( 1 park per day) at local AAA and want to exchange it at IOA for a 12 month power pass. Will there be a problem since it was purchased at AAA? Also, can this be done at any ticket window or is guest services necessary? TIA !

It won't be a problem even though you purchased it at AAA. You will need to do it at Guest Services though. Usually if you go inside the park to the Guest Service lobby, it isn't as crowded as at the Guest Service window outside of the park.

Thanks, phamton. I was hoping you'd reply as you are the DIS expert on all matters USO. If they (it's actually my nieces that I bought the tickets for) go to guest services in the park would they just take the AAA voucher to the turn style to get in? It hasn't been activated yet, it's the type with the signature lines on it. I was told at AAA that I couldn't take it directly to turn style. Sorry to make such a to do of this but I won't be with them and I want them to get it right.

They will need to process vouchers. So those would have to be done at the window outside of the park. They can do the upgrade while they get the vouchers processed though. If they had tickets instead of vouchers then they could go inside. Make sure your nieces have photo ID for the vouchers and the vouchers need to have their names on them to process them.
