Upgrades to Deluxe Resorts

I have been reading over on the resort boards about the people who received an e-mail upgrading them from value resorts to either SSR or OKW. Were any of these offers extended to Canadians or just Americans? I still wishing that I receive an e-mail but nothing yet.

From the sounds of it they are upgrading early bookers for the free dining period. They are being upgraded from the value resorts into DVC resorts. Looks like they started with people who booked during the Visa holders only and then the first of the general bookings. Hard to predict whether they are looking at Americans only.

Ah interesting.. had not realized that they started with Visa holders.. then general. I guess I candream.. although I am staying later in Sept..

I'm not holding my breath for an upgrade. We've been booked into CSR for many months now. But one can always hope.

Same here. Looks like its only value resorts and families booked late August - early Sept.

Phone them and see if there is anything attached to your name. You never know!

I phoned and there was nothing attached to my name . The CM said that they may be sending out more so keep checking my e-mail.

Not entirely sure but I think most of the upgrades have been offered to those staying over the labor day weekend.

I'm thinking the Canadians weren't included in this round. I called to see if I had a 'code' and a CM said maybe they were determined by zip, meaning not for us I guess. We're booked at ASMo Aug 26-Sept 2, which seemed to be the right place and right time, but no luck as of yet...

mind you, there are 13 of us going....don't think they will move us (would be nice..more room to spread out....lol)

I can't wait to go!!!

I just spoke to a CM and she told me that no offers have been sent to Canada "yet" and that it could still happen so keep checking!

That is what I thought. I haven't seen any Cdns being upgraded (by signature). Let's all keep our fingers crossed that they will extend the offer to their northern friends.
