Upgrade to AP question

We will be there for 5 days and need 4 day park to park tickets. We may buy the AP as it is not that much more to do so; however, I have seen where people buy discounted tickets and upgrade to AP with little to no more money after they get there.

So, if I buy this 2 day park to park from Ticketsatwork for:

Adult (10+)
Gate price $284.99 + tax $18.53 = $303.52

YOUR CORPORATE PRICE: 248.00*

Can I upgrade it to an AP when I get there for nothing since the gate price is the same as the AP price? This would save us approx $190 if it would work. I just dont want to get a 2 day ticket and it not work and not be able to go for the other two days or have to spend more to get the extra 2 days. Or should I just buy the AP for $284?

Unless the ticket has an expiry date on it, you should be able to upgrade it like you want and save some money. Last time I upgraded a 2 day ticket, I had to pay $10 to upgrade to the seasonal pass but that was in 2017.

So disappointed. Went to guest services after we used TAW tickets today. We had 4 day base tickets. They said were valued at $271.50 but said it would be $99 to upgrade to seasonal pass and $60 to change to Parker hopper. Wish I had just bought the park hoppers and had what I needed. Now trying to save a buck is going to cost me more if we want to get park hoppers and now no AP for us . I didn’t do anything with the

The price of one park per day tickets is quite a bit lower than park to park tickets.

Price of a one park per day, 4 day pass on their website is $235 --- $255 gate (not including tax)
Price of a park hopper, 4 day pass on their website is $300 --- $325 gate (not including tax)
Price of a seasonal pass on their website is $305 (not including tax)

So, yes it is about $70 to upgrade to a parkhopper or about $50 to upgrade to a seasonal AP.

Check with another guest services. The price they quoted you for the AP might be high but otherwise, I think they are correct. Perhaps they were quoting you on a power pass.
