upgrade from garden view concierge to lagoon view

We have requested a garden view (concierge) at the polynesian and were wondering if anyone has ever been upgraded to a lagoon view? We would love the view, but at this point we can't justify the extra money.

Ask when you checkin. If they have the rooms available for the entire length of your stay, they will probably do it for you.

It happens every so often, but I wouldnt rely on that.

If you really want lagoon view, then book it.
imho, the lagoon view at the Poly is worth it! It is amazing!

I just posted on anouther thread that we received an upgrade last week. The view was incredible! Because of the cold/rainy weather, it was so nice to watch the fireworks and boat parade from our room. But if the weather was nicer, we would have been as happy stepping outside to watch it from the beach so I don't know how much more I'd pay for the view.
