Updated list of Refurbs for 2014

Sorry for asking but what telephone number are you guys calling to get the refurb info?

Also, how do you find the closure information on the map?

I'm not heading down until mid to late May and right now there aren't many closures but I know what can change.

I was talking to the dining line. I was asking about my Blue bayou reservation since there has been suggestion it would be closed because of POTC. Disney dining is 714-781-3463.

Go to this link for a map.

Enlarge the map. You'll notice a Star by each ride. Click on the star. It opens and info window for the specific location. Try it for POTC and you'll see the info for refurbishment.

Hope this helps you.

It WAS on the daily schedule for a short time. It showed up there on about Dec 20th, but was taken off a week or 2 later, it is still on the map though.

This was pretty much what I was saying. That it isn't on the daily schedule, but on the interactive map for it's original rehab (Jan 27-Feb13). Minus the reports here that people are getting from Disney Dining (which btw, I do believe those people were told), there has been nothing anywhere of it being pushed back.

Or go this this link for the calendar. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/au/calendar/#/default/2014/01 Click on the date of your visit, and get a different list of closures. Try it for POTC and you'll see it is not listed for refurbishment the week of the 27th whereas the map does.

Good luck trying to figure out which is correct.

I have been confused about POTC refurb dates conflicting on the website and things I have read here for February. Called down yesterday and the cast member said that POTC will be closed jan 27-February 13, however blue bayou will be open, as they will not be draining the water for the refurb. On the days on the month calendar on the Disney website, not all of the attractions are listed that are in refurbishment during the beginning of february(I have been checking daily to avoid disappointment when we go). Not sure why disney doesn't post the comprehensive list for each day. My guess is it looks bad that so many major ones are closed at the same time:confused3:confused3:confused3:

It may "look bad" but Disney needs to provide the correct information. Interesting(but not too surprising) that we are hearing different reports from CM's.

Okay. I'm really confused. Our trip is happening from February 27th - March 3rd. Alice in Wonderland is one of our must-hit Fantasyland dark rides. We were dissapointed to find out that it would be closed for refurb during our trip. However, just today, I checked the Disneyland interactive map and it says that Alice will be down for refurb from March 10th - July 3rd. Does that mean it will be open for our visit after all?? And what about Pirates of the Caribbean? We love that one too and were really wanting to make a ressie for the Blue Bayou. As one of the above posters stated, POTC is now saying it will be down between January 27th - February 13th... which again, would render it open for our trip. Any insight here? Cause for us, what I am seeing now seems too good to be true. I am actually waiting for the website to update with closures during our visit... hah, I am such a pessimist.

Looks to me like you are in luck. But dates seem to be changing a bit this season.

Haha I am just waiting at this point.
It seems like disneyland doesn't even know what's going on.

It seems like disneyland doesn't even know what's going on.

And that's the scariest truth of all! :scared1:

Hopefully the refurbs remain as they are listed now. They seem to be aligning with everyone's schedules a bit more. Considering most people are taking trips from late February, onward.

Possibly. It is not showing on the calendar under the dates the OP has listed. My advice is not to plan a trip around any attraction as things can change at any time, but, yes, it does look like as of this moment, AIW will be open during your dates.

We are visiting the same time as you and we have a ressie for blue bayou all set, so it seems pretty safe to say that POTC will be up during that time. I was thrilled to learn that Alice was pushed back too! It's my favorite and we didn't get to ride it during our last trip because the waits were too long! Have an awesome trip!!

Great news! And you as well! :wizard:

I asked at the ride this morning, and was told it is NOT going down on the 27th. The refurb had been scheduled due to the Club 33 construction, and they have been able to do it at night, so the closure wasn't necessary.

The CM told me April 22 was the date it will close.

He did enquire where I heard it was closing next week, and I said that the park map listed the refurb. He said " on an official disneyland site?" And I said, "yep." He shook his head, and I was like "I KNOW. It's so confusing!"

I still expect to show up and have it be closed, but that was the word I got at the actual ride this morning.

Which ride?
