Updated-Help requested from the Disboutique Gods!!

My daughter made her comp dance team this year, it is a 5/6 year old team, soooo cute. They ordered the tap costumes from the standard dance catalogues, but for the musical theater number the dance teacher wanted something special, so she hired a young girl(she used before) to design the costumes. The dance is Be our Guest. Well, our first competition is on Saturday and the girl up and quit on Monday. Luckily, we have a wonderful mom on the team who is just as or even more talented then the original designer and we were able to pull together 6 of the 7 cotumes and they look adorable.

Here is where I need your expert advice and any kind of help you can give us. MRS POTTS is alluding us. Can anyone give me help on what type of material or a pattern we can use? We have CHIP done. My heart is breaking because this little girl is our most sensitive and she kind of knows she is the last to be finished and her poor mom is running around like a maniac to try to figure out what to use.

Any brainstorming ideas are greatly appreciated? I have seen the talent here, and this is the one place I could think of to go.

Mrs Potts is the same colors as chip only with a hat and (heavier) on the sides ,are you looking for a dress to represent the color and her character (you can use carlac peasant top dress and just make a hat) or the outfits are more detail and faithfully to the characters ....

I will think that the same materials use for the other outfits will do for this one , did you use fabric?

but without knowing how the other costumes look like is kind of hard

No, I really appreciate you answering, when I get home from work, I will take a picture of my Gi in the Chip and send it. Will you be on tonight. Chip is pretty close to character, except we are not using any face, we used a white fabric and a hula hoop, her face comes out of the top of the cup and the bottom is gathered like a cup bottom. We just don't know where to start with Mrs. Potts. We were going to buy a hersey kiss costume and then cover that with white material, but noone has one at this late in the game time.

The little girls mom is at Joann fabrics to get advice, but I know the work you all do on the disboutique thread and I thought I would start here.

To those that responded thank you for trying to help me in my panic, I wanted to show you what we ended up with. We scored extremely high at both competitions for creative costumes, which made the moms proud, since we whipped it up in a very rushed week. I have permission from Mrs Potts mom and Chip is my little girl. I will post more when I get permission from the rest of the team, but it was adorable.

Those look great! Do you have a bigger picture (or can you make that one bigger)? I'd love to see the costumes up close- I teach elementary music and we may do Beauty and the Beast next year!

I am going to figure out photo thing today, and in the meantime, I will check with the other moms so you can see Lumiere, Cogsworth, a plate, a fork and knife. We even refitted a belle dress so Belle could do the ballet solo that she needed to do. I will PM you over the weekend.
