Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

Lol, I didn't know that either, thank you!

10% huh? Depending on where you shop, Post #1 has had it's fair share of 15%-20% and those were straight discounts, use a cc offer and/or coupon and many saved 20%-25% or more.
Those looking beyond One Step Andy, could find additional savings (double/triple dip) just by clicking links on Post #2. All in all, it depends on how much effort you're willing to put in to stretch your dollar.

If the gc thread goes back to a non-maintained singular post without any DP's, like it was in 2012, it will be exhausting and then some. However some peeps still prefer that due to the "conversation" it certainly wouldn't help anyone new and Newbies should be taken care of.

They certainly didn’t publicize this. I made a purchase with subtotal of $125. Learned the hard way has to be 120 after all discounts apparently including redeeming any rewards. My total after all discounts, coupons, and rewards was $87 and this was the amount the agent referenced when explaining why I didn’t get my reward. All these new changes make it harder to save money which I am sure was their goal. Not being able to save discounts is frustrating too, that’s how I would make my shopping list.
I'm sorry, that blows. They did not publicize it and I wouldn't have noticed if someone here had not posted it.

It doesn't make much difference if you're only purchasing gift cards, since you'd only get the Red Card discount, but it makes a big difference when you're buying other discounted items.

I don't like the changes they've made at all.

I wasn't paying enough attention to my Target offer and didn't realize it said "with your Circle Card." I paid with another card and was wondering why my purchase didn't track. Ugh.

I'm not sure the agent was fully correct in the calculation as redeeming rewards worked for me.

I made my purchase today in store to fulfill my spend $100 get $15 in rewards bonus offer. My total after Circle automatic discounts was ~120. I used my $80 Circle rewards balance and the rest from a Target GC in my wallet - got a notification walking out that I met my bonus and $15 added to restart my Circle rewards balance again. I used my rewards on the bulk of the bill and it still counted.

I'm reading the new terms as the total is after those "automatic" deals, where you don't have to clip them to apply them. Like these that say auto-applied - Screenshot_20240713-224850.png

But anything else like manufacturer coupons that you have to clip, one time offers that needs to be clipped, the red card discount... sorry *circle card* discount... should work as before. Screenshot_20240713-223316~2.png

Seems to me that the auto-applied Circle discounts are like a members only Sale price. So usually that's how sub totals worked before, it showed the sale price of the item. Then you'd get to subtracting the discounts and coupons and adding sales tax and shipping for the final total. I only had auto applied deals today so I don't have a full DP to confirm my interpretation yet.

Got a new Target Circle offer this morning. Spend a total of $250 to get $25 in rewards. I like these offers because I’m always at Target but shop in small quantities each time.

Mines 30 back on 295 spend. Probably won't hit this one. I just did a big order using their spend 50 on household get a 15 gc. There's nothing I need after last week.

It’s official, I’m retiring from the Updated Disney Gift Card thread effective immediately

There are a few reasons for my decision but the bottom line is, it’s just time.

I want to thank all of you for your help, support and patience over the years. I’ve learned a great deal and have been guided with generosity and kindness. I also want to thank you for opening up and sharing your life stories. In all honesty, I’m a better person for getting to know so many of you, so thank you for that.

I’ll still be on the DIS just no longer hosting this thread and will continue to value your friendship and trust. I wish nothing but the very best for you and your endeavors.

Take care my friends,
Thia
Thank you for everything!

The TripAdvisor code should be good until 12/31/24, but check the other post I made, you can save 15% off the price with Viator using the link I provided and RMN has 14% cashback right now too. My price for MVMCP tickets for a $199 ticket will be $155 with tax after the cashback!

Thank you for posting this incredible deal!! The first day I tried your link (with every email I knew of in my family) it didn't generate a code, but I tried again yesterday and it worked. It's a fantastic deal if you need a particular # of days, I needed three 5-day tickets so it worked for my dates in January. I also need a 4-day ticket which it doesn't have for my dates, but I think I technically could buy a 4-day ticket for July (it has that available for July dates), assuming the cost is similar to the date for when I'm going. Then change the date on WDW after I move it over. Do you happen to know?

Yeah I am not sure why it has not always been working - I have had the most luck using Firefox Private Mode (similar to Incognito mode) and then entering my email address to get it to immediately generate a code.

You should be able to change the dates, but I've never personally done it before. planDisney has a few different threads about how to do this and they all say you can do it, here is one example: https://plandisney.disney.go.com/question/change-dates-tickets-disney-website-525790/

BJ’s has an offer on their $500 Disney GC’s.
View attachment 876641
I do not see an expiration date listed.
Just logged in to my BJ's Wholesale Club account and it seems some other Disney GC's are discounted also...

$50 physical Disney gift card - $46.99 (extra $1.50 savings - ends 7/23)
$100 physical Disney gift card - $94.99 (extra $2 savings - ends 7/23)

The $50 physical Disney gift card is the best percentage of savings (6.02%) but the others are over 5% savings also!
