I'd love to get a new Food Processor , the one I have originally belonged to my late MIL, I've had it since 2000, Black & Decker Shortcut Food Processor CFP10. Worked just fine but nowadays you can smell something burning if you use it.

Not sure which gc's to buy at the moment. Waiting to see what Amazon is going to do: Amazon Prime Day Will Be July 16-17, 2024
Looks just like the one we got for our wedding in 1987. I don't use it much at all, so no burning smell!

Combing through for a good way to get some MVMCP tix tomorrow. Thanks to everyone (especially @FoxC63) for this thread and keeping up all the deals. We just got back from our first trip to Disneyland and I've got no Disney money left right now!

You should be able to use what I posted earlier today ( https://www.disboards.com/threads/updated-disney-gift-card-deals-and-more.3784942/post-65587467 ) to score discounted MVMCP tickets, but it might not become available until July 10th (when all guests can book MVMCP tickets) for TripAdvisor to update their website and make them available. If you're worried about certain dates selling out, the discount for AP and DVC members via Disney direct on certain dates is not much more than buying it from TripAdvisor.

I saw that--we want to go Thanksgiving week and this is new to me, so I have no idea what the risk of selling out is. I'm guessing that might not be eligible for our DVC discount though.

Does TripAdvisor offer the tickets on their app then? (Sorry for being so clueless!)

With one of the Chase Freedom (and Chase Freedom Flex) 5% Cashback categories being Live Entertainment, I believe you can use this for ticket purchases to theme parks, including Disney parks based on last year when Chase ran this.

If you plan to buy any Disney parks tickets, including hard ticket events like a After Hours party, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (once those tickets go on sale), you can get 5% Cashback.

Combine this with the 12% off Coupon (RMNAPP12) available for TripAdvisor (only for purchases made through the app) for a total of roughly 16.3% off the price of tickets. It is only about 10.3% off the price if you have an Annual Pass or DVC discount and you buy hard tickets on a date with the $10 discount, so using a DGC through Disney direct could be better depending on how much of a discount you're getting on your DGC.

I am pretty sure TripAdvisor qualifies for the 5% cashback from what I remember last year.

You can also look to see if Viator (same company as TripAdvisor) has a decent coupon and combine with cashback, but I've found the 12% off to be the better discount most of the time.

Just bought my tickets this morning for MNSSHP in September!
Got our five day hoppers with this today! Good looking out!

I read the fine print on the categories too, and third party ticket resellers are included again this year.

Also linking back to the excellent screenshot from @FoxC63's Post #17899 last year that gave the examples of included companies. Chase did not provide us with the same list this year, so no guarantees, but the categories are the same.

The key reminder is to make sure your purchase codes as a ticket agency, not travel or something else. Things we can be mostly certain will not count:
UT - typically codes as travel
Orlando Informer - I found out the hard way last year in the post immediately following.

I'm interested to know where TripAdvisor lands in the travel vs ticket agency spectrum.

Yes, TripAdvisor will offer the tickets on their app, right now they don't because they aren't for sale yet (not until July 10th). But if you were looking to buy Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for example, you just search for that under "Things To Do" and it would come up. Once Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are available, you could search on the TripAdvisor app and find them.

I need to start loading up on GCs for our quick trip down for the Halloween party in August. The Staples offer is not that attractive to me since I have to pay the secure shipping fee which cuts into the savings. It would probably end up being close to buying at BJs for me. C'mon CC/Store Promo Gods...throw me a bone here!

When looking at MNSSHP tickets on TripAdvisor it has a button that says "Book on Viator". Clicking that and entering RMNAPP12 for the promo code I get "Sorry, this promo code is expired or invalid. Please enter a different code or proceed to checkout.".

Am I doing something wrong or did they stop allowing this coupon to be used on Disney event tickets?

I did the math and this is...actually better than the military discount for MNSSHP tickets 😅 Although it's probably about even when you consider military tix are tax-free.

Thanks for bringing the Chase Entertainment List back to light. I did not find one for 2024, maybe because there are no changes as they're listed as examples. I just wish Chase would be more transparent with their customers.

Thanks @wilckepedia & @Liquidice for the updates!

I used one of my Staples.com offers yesterday. Figured I try to max the $17 so I ordered $150 DGC and $20 Target (e-cards). They were split on my Chase login. Hoping I get the 10% off the Disney charge.

I believe this has happened recently and peeps called Chase.
Hope peeps can confirm.

I guess I don't need to shop at Smith's as often; I can switch to Albertson's Market once the fuel points reach 1000.

So were you able to take advantage of Buy $75 DGC & Get $15
stack with Earn 4x pts on 3rd party gc ? That was an incredible offer. Note to All, these are expired.

Tigerlicious
looks like most of the shell gas stations at least the 2 I tried do not take discover anymore for some reason. This is northern Illinois

Are Discover credit cards accepted at gas stations?
As Discover is widely accepted, chances are high that your favorite gas station accepts Discover too. If you ever find a gas station that doesn’t accept credit cards from Discover, you can call the customer service number on the back to let us know. We’ll work to add them. Discover direct link
