Ugh. I am so sick and tired of Target’s coupon games. This one is online only. That one is in store only. This one is only valid for certain items but not the one you bought. Today I bought an item that had a manufacturer coupon for $1.50 off that was added to my Circle. I carefully read the conditions that it had to be above a certain count and selected an item that had more then the minimum. I noticed as I was leaving that the coupon didn’t come off. I spent 15 freaking minutes at customer service only to tell me that the item I bought didn’t show on the list of eligible items even though (1) the count was above the minimum and (2) the coupon didn’t say “select”. What a crock of crap. I know it’s only $1.50 but the stupid coupon showed up at the bottom of my app when I scanned it. They refused to honor it.

DH has some really great Target offers not to mention more than I ever had during a promotional period.
I typically get one or two, he got four this time!

I bought Target gc from Kroger 4x for my purchases but I just haven't gotten around to buying anything. I'll definitely take another look at the terms though, thanks for posting.

They will often have the same promo (like "Buy 3 Personal Products and get a $5 gift card") but the items that qualify are sometimes different online and in the store. That was the last coupon bait and switch they got me on. I bought what I thought was valid items but it turned out the toothpaste was only valid online. I had to buy the double pack to qualify in store.

Yeah I've been burned by their coupons/promos before.

Was out today, so decided to stop by Home Depot and Walgreens to get my $50 DGC through CashApp. My Home Depot doesn't have Apple Pay and I forgot my physical card, but was able to go back with my physical card and pickup a $50 DGC for $45. Then onto Walgreens and I was surprised that my local Walgreens doesn't have any Disney gift cards! Had already loaded $45 into my Cash App account for it, so I guess I am heading back out to Home Depot tomorrow :)

Wish the 10% off Target offer would come back! :)

I recently got my mom a Target Debit card with the $50 coupon redeemable through Circle. That thing was so infuriating to use! The insert with the card didn't give correct information on how to add the coupon to Circle. I found a post on Reddit where another frustrated user called Target corporate numerous times and finally got an answer. Then it didn't work on ANY sale items. As soon as you hit $50 it kicked out all the promotions or bonus GCs effectively making the $50 coupon worth $30/$35 at most. Oh Target :sad2:

This reminds me of the time I tried to use a $5 off $25 kids clothes coupon they had. I bought 5 pairs of shorts for my 3 year old and when I scanned them all on the target app, it looked like they were all eligible for the coupon. After I rang out, I couldn't figure out why it didn't apply the coupon and went to customer service for help. Come to find out, buried in the fine print was that clearance items did not count towards the $25. One of the pairs of shorts was on clearance but it didn't matter that when I scanned it, the coupon popped up making it seem eligible. Oh Target is right!

We all definitely have a love/hate relationship with Target :rotfl2:

Has anyone gotten this to work? I followed the link and one of the eligible gift cards was to reload $40 into my gift card balance. I did it, but did not receive any emails saying I qualified for the offer (which I normally do). I also tried adding something to my cart and did not see the promotional credit when I went to check out. Sometimes it takes a few days for the credit to show up, but I thought it would have at least emailed me to confirm I qualified.

@Liquidice I went to deal webpage that FoxC63 linked and read the comments as she recommended. One of the commenters had the same experience as you but they checked out all the way and called Amazon Customer Service and they credited the $8. I tried what you did and same, no $8 promo showing up. But I just didn't want to hassle with Amazon Customer Service, even though when I had to call in the past, the experience overall was always positive and they do try to make things right. I suggest you take a screenshot of the promo and talk to Amazon CS and see what they can do.

A friendly reminder about using your Disney GCs: document your GC numbers somewhere easily accessible. I had a GC with about $400 left on it this weekend at WDW that disappeared at, or right after, bkfst our first morning. I spent the day kicking myself for not taking a picture of the back of the card or writing down the number. Then that evening, I suddenly remembered I had put the number in my phone notes so I could copy and paste it for mobile orders. I checked the balance and all the money was still there, so I quickly transferred the balance to my other card. I was so relieved!

For some reason, the link when I click on visit this page is not taking me to Amazon but to a page that says superoffers. However, I was able to see the deal by clicking on the link to Danny the Deal guru and then clicking on his link. I don't know if it is just my computer but I tried it on 2 different browsers.

Anyways, I have a feeling this deal won't work without having to contact customer support. Usually, these Amazon promos will also say the promo directly on the item page and this one doesn't. Also, on the main Amazon page where you see this promo, it says "1-12 of over 1,000 results for Exclusive offer: Get a $8 promotional credit with a $40 Gift Card purchase". But if you click see all results on the bottom of the page, the banner disappears so my feeling is this offer is some type of mistake.

So glad you were able to load the number and transfer funds!

Losing GCs is a big concern of mine on travel (maybe more than is warranted) so I always have all of my card numbers in notes. I also make sure to bring a couple of zeroed out cards in different bags or wallets. That way, if Hubby's wallet is lost, I have a card in my carry on that can receive the balance or vice versa. As much as I love the savings we can get here, I really dislike traveling with that much balance on hand.

Yes, this is yet another issue I've noticed, going on 7-8 months.
I did reach out to IT but it was during a stressful time for the DIS which was later revealed.

The issue is not just on Amazon but Best Buy & Target periodically. Now that time has passed, I'll reach out again.

Thanks for posting.
