Just found this in a search since I don't normally check this forum. I got the offer and my points posted in less than two hours after I entered my redemption code. But I still didn't get a refund on my points/fees that I used to book nor reimbursement for my substitute travel on Amtrak.

Oh absolutely! I signed up for the Flex last fall as well, but already had the Freedom. Planning to use Freedom at Target so I can maximize the grocery usage this quarter with the Flex. Be advised, the Flex maxes out at 9% (or 9x the points) for the Q1 bonus and the 1st year bonus combined. Screenshot from the Flex Offer page details.


At 9% back already though it feels a little greedy to wish for 10%
