While reading reviews on ShopDisney for Madame Leota Lamp I discovered a new product I never knew existed, in fact neither did DH. To understand why it's helpful you need to understand the issue, here's the image of the lamp and below that a solid solution.

The glass ball is removeable and sits on top of the base. Unfortunately, the on/off switch is on the bottom of the base...so every time you want to turn it on, you need to remove the glass ball and put if safely down, flip the base upside down, turn the switch on, and then put the ball back on the stand. That makes zero sense.​

Turning it off and on can be tedious, so I would suggest a Lenink AC Power Supply Adapter for AAA Battery and a Smart Plug. You'll never have to use batteries again and it will turn off and on automatically when you set up a smart plug for it.​

Adding Lenink AC Power Supply Adapter whether for AAA or AA batteries would also work well with other applications. Amazon sells a variety of Lenink products and includes a video.

A couple of years ago, I bought a star for the top of my Christmas tree that was battery powered. We have our lights on a smart plug with a timer and I was annoyed that the star wouldn't also turned on. I did a quick google search and it sent me right to a Lenick power supply adapter and I've been so happy with it! I now have 3 sets of those adapters.

Do you still show this as an offer under your Amex card? I added it to my card yesterday and made a purchase through the link, but now the offer has disappeared??? It's not under my added or redeemed sections either so now I'm worried I won't get the $50 credit...

I'm not sure but 24 hours after my purchase I did get an email from AMEX saying that I made a purchase using the offer. Did you get an email with the offer or is it showing redeemed now?

Definitely not Kroger due to Blackhawk Network. It depends on which cc you use, it does code differently. If you have a CC offer might want to try this new workaround:

• 12/10/22 In comments, Add CC offers to Krogerpay it will code online order, and the offer will work for instore purchases. You can only buy a GC that is sub $50 using Krogerpay, anything over that won’t work. This will also activate the 3% on the CSP for online grocery purchases category.

Has anyone ever used shopKick before? I haven't used them before, but they currently are offering "40 kicks" back for every $1.00 you spend at Sam's Club and gift cards ARE included based on the T&Cs. You have to use their app to make the purchase though - so you can't use a cash back website.

It seems similar to Dosh in that you can link your CC and it will automatically earn points, but they also have an online option.

I use ShopKick but I have not made an online purchase from Sam's Club. Most of my earnings have come from submitting receipts from in-store purchases, scanning items in a store, or walk-in kicks. I have only redeemed my earnings for Disney GC's. I have not had any issues redeeming for GC's or points expiring before I could earn a GC. My only issue is my local stores do not have many in store items to earn points on.

I slowed way down using it during covid since I didn't want to wander around target scanning stuff. The kicks don't expire, I'm very slowly working on getting the last bit I need for a dis gc. I've done a few offers and scanned my receipt and it always worked.

Only caution I would say is make sure and read the fine print on how much you can actually get off one purchase, does it cap out at a lower amount than the gc you want to but. And then how many times it allows you to do it.

Hey, if anyone made some purchases at Saks Fifth Avenue might want to take a look see if the prices have gone down. I just did a price adjustment on a dress I purchased on 12/25/22 and saved $50.35!

I bought this dress in a medium for $142.50 and size large is now $95 but they honored the price difference.
