I just had Target cancel my gift card order. This is the first time I have ever had that happen to me. I have bought several cards last year. Does anyone have an idea why?

I've never heard of InKind before but saw it as an AMEX Offer for my Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant card and saw others on SD reported finding it on their AMEX offers as well... Worth trying as a $50 gift card with $50 cashback if there is a restaurant near you that participates.

It looks like Jaleo at Disney Springs participates as well and there are some other Orlando based restaurants such as the Ravenous Pig (the sister restaurant to Polite Pig in Disney Springs).

There are additional discounts if you buy more than $50 too - https://pass.inkind.com/amex-special

Do you still show this as an offer under your Amex card? I added it to my card yesterday and made a purchase through the link, but now the offer has disappeared??? It's not under my added or redeemed sections either so now I'm worried I won't get the $50 credit...

This must happen once you use it but it hasn't been officially credited, because I noticed the same thing with my $25 back with$250 Best Buy offer. I convinced myself I was cracking up and it expired or something. But a couple days later the $25 credited!

Thanks for the info! I feel better now lol. Fingers crossed it shows up in a few days.

While reading reviews on ShopDisney for Madame Leota Lamp I discovered a new product I never knew existed, in fact neither did DH. To understand why it's helpful you need to understand the issue, here's the image of the lamp and below that a solid solution.

The glass ball is removeable and sits on top of the base. Unfortunately, the on/off switch is on the bottom of the base...so every time you want to turn it on, you need to remove the glass ball and put if safely down, flip the base upside down, turn the switch on, and then put the ball back on the stand. That makes zero sense.

Turning it off and on can be tedious, so I would suggest a Lenink AC Power Supply Adapter for AAA Battery and a Smart Plug. You'll never have to use batteries again and it will turn off and on automatically when you set up a smart plug for it.

Adding Lenink AC Power Supply Adapter whether for AAA or AA batteries would also work well with other applications. Amazon sells a variety of Lenink products and includes a video.

Thanks for posting, I've added the offer to Amazon & Credit Card Offers

InKind Amex Offer: Spend $50 or more, get back $50
Expires 2/28/23. Post #13214 :thumbsup2 @Liquidice
Just saw this pop up on my AMEX, hooray!

Note, you can use this to purchase an "inKind pass" which is good at any inKind partner, or to pay for a "house account" which is restricted to the single restaurant group (aka Jose Andres group to use at Jaleo). Totally your choice, but I'd recommend the inKind pass. In my case, would allow me to get purchase a larger amount, get a bonus, and if I don't use it all at Jaleo on my upcoming trip, I can use the balance when I come home at a few of the restaurants I have here in town that participate.

On Nov 27 I bought many $100 Physical DGCs (different styles like the Anniversary One, Frozen, Toy Story, etc) through Rakuten, TCB, RMN, Capital One Shopping, and CouponCabin all at ShopDis, and then RMN through BJs. I did this basically as a test to see which would and would not work as everyone seems to be having different levels of success😅

- Rakuten within a few hours of the purchase had already marked it $0 back
- TCB, RMN (at shopDIS and BJs), and Capital One all still show PENDING
- CouponCabin shows tracked but not pending yet

The only method that worked 100% for me is buying DGCs through Raise.com. The discount % is quite low on Disney cards, BUT if you refer a friend they get 15% off their first order (up to $20) and once they buy their first card you both get a $5 credit.

So after a little over a month, here is where I stand. Sites have multiple numbers listed under them if I attempted to use the cashback portal more than once.

---------------
ShopDisney (for Disney E-gift cards) - 11/27 and 11/28 purchases
TopCashBack
1. Rejected
2. Pending
Rakuten
1. Rejected
CouponCabin
1. Rejected
RetailMeNot
1. Rejected
CapitalOneShopping
1. APPROVED (10% cashback)

BJs (for Disney gift cards sold at discount) - 11/27 purchase
RetailMeNot
1. Pending

BestBuy (for Disney gift cards sold at discount) - 12/17 purchase
RetailMeNot
1. Pending
2. Pending
---------------
Overall, most of the cash back portals rejected the physical and e-DGCs with the exception of CapitalOneShopping which worked. Some people had much better luck than I did but they seem to have used the shopping portals in October or much earlier in November.

Despite this, I used Raise.com for the majority of the Disney Gift Cards I needed to pay my DVC dues this year ($1,850).

One tip for using Raise.com is that they have 2 different store pages for "Disney" and "Disney Store" gift cards, and a lot of time the Disney Store gift cards will be on a higher discount. Two times I bought Disney Store GC's and added them to my other regular Disney GC's and they combined no problem, and I paid all my DVC dues today with the cards and they were all accepted. Cardcash.com is another discounted GC website, and on their site they specifically say "Disney Store GC's do NOT work for other Disney purchases", but that was not the case for me.

My Wells Fargo CC also gives 2% cash back on all purchases. If the rest of the pending cashback is rejected, between all of the cashback portals and Raise.com:

$1,675.06 paid out of pocket after cashback
$45 from TopCashBack in refer-a-friend payments

1 - (1,630.06 total out of pocket paid / 1850 total dues owed) = 11.9% saved
