I think it would probably be fine for an only contract for a western states resident who never planned to go to Aulani or WDW, and was good at planning in advance. Also it’s a nice add on if spending a lot of your direct VDH points at VDH already and you want more points there so you can spend your direct points some other locations, too. I mostly agree.
Sure. And it isn’t like they can’t stay at Aulani. They just can’t stay on points there.
I agree with this, I think it'll also help dispel the idea that VDH is in a less desirable location than VGC because it could potentially give VDH its own entrance.

I think we are going to get a lot of the best ride technology that was put into the parks in Asia/Paris or that is being R&D’d for the Middle East.
I would think something along those lines though. I mean it’s not going to resemble AK. So Epcot is about their only other option to copy or model after. It’ll never be Westcot, but I think it may have some feels and vibes.
Yeahh keyword is potentially, who knows how it'll all shape up in the end but it'll be very interesting. I'm just glad I'll have potential opportunities to stay there down the line with my own points

I know we all love Disney in here but for Hawaii specifically I have sometimes wondered about the other resorts like Turtle Bay in north shore and other islands besides Oahu. I do love Aulani but I'm somewhat glad to have the amount of points I do at AUL to potentially split it with another hotel or island down the line if we want to try something new.
If I stayed anywhere else on Oahu it would be Turtle Bay.
