Yes, unfortunately REI discontinued participation in CB portals. Seems like Rakuten is particularly salty about it since the add-on button always notifies me "REI no longer participates in cash back"

If you had multiple purchases to make, I'd buy something that is ineligible for the coupons over $50 (markdowns are good for this), and add the membership. Then you could make a second purchase with your coupons, then at some point in the next 11 days, use your $30 bonus for a 3rd purchase.

When you say make sure you redeem the gift cards within 45 days, I think it is worth it to point out that if you buy a Disney gift card and transfer it to another card, that is not called actually using it and the money can still be clawed back.

To me, I would only buy a gift card from cardcash for something where I would be buying the merchandise in the next few days and it is to a store which generally doesn't get discounted anywhere else. I certainly wouldn't take a chance on the hassle from cardcash with Disney cards for only around 7%.

Lowe's Military Discount

I was a little disappointed yesterday when my military discount didn't apply to a shelving unit I needed. The price had dropped from $109 to $99. The cashier told me military discounts don't apply to clearance items. My first thought, that's a clearance price?!

What was confusing is I noticed other yellow tags with the word CLEARANCE on them whereas the unit I wanted had a yellow tag with New Lower Price. When looking around various aisles there were a mix of both. Why not just say military discounts do not apply on items with a yellow tag. No confusion there.

When did that change? If you've purchased anything from Lowe's b&m be sure to check your receipts. Many items can be purchased online for store pickup and you'll be able to use a cb website.

It looks like Jaleo at Disney Springs participates as well and there are some other Orlando based restaurants such as the Ravenous Pig (the sister restaurant to Polite Pig in Disney Springs).

We only use them for the backyard when she’s out in a lot of snow but they have lasted for a few years at this point. She walks well In them too so she doesn’t mind it much. Just like any bootie though, make sure to really loop that Velcro tight around their paw or they will fall off.

• Red Flag #2 I haven't placed an order with Kohl's in years. YEARS. I don't even have an account with them nor do I have their credit card.

When you receive an email containing an unknown subject from an unknown sender, do not open it. This simply confirms to the sender that somebody is reading the mail. The message could contain executable code that launches immediately after opening the email. Similarly, do not click any links embedded in the message or use a phone number listed on the email.

If you're unsure or have concerns, contact the company directly. Go to their website to get contact information; email, phone number or chat.

Don't just trash the email, empty it so it's gone for good!

I recently posted a similar email I received from Best Buy...it’s crazy how many of these phishing scams are out there and just increasing.
