Only worked once for me. Oh well.

Did you see the dates I used the offer?
Oct 4th and today, Dec 23rd.

Update 10/26/22: Just a reminder this deal is still around if you haven’t yet done it.

My take on that comment is it's valid one time only but that isn't the case. I don't know if it reset but I used it twice on the same cc. :surfweb:

Your dogs are brave! I've had to shove mine out the door just to get her to go potty! I open the door, she sticks her nose out and turns around lol.

Sherlock and I walked by two men shoveling their driveway, neither were wearing anything to protect their face and they were beet red! That's going to hurt.

yikes. With the windchill it was -31 here this morning. I didn't want to have to leave the house so I don't blame my dog lol. I'm going to have to find her coat. I never knew pitbulls were such babies.

Wow, this weather is crazy cold! Minus wind chill and my pups are ready to play! I'm going to put on my ski goggles, balaclava and winter wear and take them for a walk. Don't worry, I've got gear for them as well ::yes::
I picked up a nice jacket for my golden off Amazon and we love it. It has a zipper and covers her entire belly so no more snowballs to comb out after a big snowstorm.

Yes, I used it around Thanksgiving and tried again yesterday. No luck.

Anyone know if Sam's Club "resets" your eGiftcard limit after 24 hours? Just bought 2x DoorDash $50 gift cards but need 6 of them for gifts and not sure if I can purchase 2 more tomorrow, and then another 2 on Christmas day.

I think this is the case as I can usually purchase 2 Disney eGiftcards each day.
24 hours later and still can't buy anymore. Oh well. I wish the Best Buy offer for Door Dash cards allowed you to buy 2x$50 cards instead of just the $100 card.

IRS delays $600 threshold for 1099-K reporting

The Internal Revenue Service on Friday postponed the introduction of a $600 threshold for filing a Form 1099-K to report on transactions involving services such as eBay, PayPal, Venmo, Etsy and third-party settlement organizations, which was scheduled to take effect in the New Year and generate millions of new forms going out to unsuspecting taxpayers and their accountants.

As a result of the delay, the IRS said third-party settlement organizations won't be required to report tax year 2022 transactions on a Form 1099-K to the IRS or the payee for the lower, $600 threshold amount. In tandem with the announcement, the IRS released guidance Friday stating that calendar year 2022 will now be a transition period for implementation of the lowered threshold reporting for third-party settlement organizations including Venmo, PayPal and CashApp that would have generated Form 1099-Ks for taxpayers.

Does it have to be egifts?

There's still time for a workaround like buying these...

and exchanging for physical DoorDash. I don't know where you live but some stores have them on sale. GameStop carries $50 DoorDash. Maybe check Discount District?

It's Christmas Eve, everyone ready for Santa's arrival?

Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus.
Here is a copy of the original newspaper editorial that appeared in the New York Sun on September 21, 1897. It was written by Francis Pharcellus Church. Link
This great article from over 100 years ago is still true today. Thank you, @FoxC63 for all you do during the year to save me a bunch of money and make me smile with current events that include your dogs.

Gotta put this out there!

@Liquidice

Another option would be for those with Sam's memberships PMing you and offering to buy the DoorDash egift cards for you. The egifts can be sent directly to you and you can pay them via PayPal or Venmo. They can choose to keep the CB savings or pass them on to you. Their choice, but it's Christmas...

If I had a Sam's membership, I wouldn't hesitate to help you out. You've been a consistent respectful DISer since day one.
Good luck!

Biggest babies ever! One would not walk through puddles or mud, her name was princess and she was!

While mine drank from the new puddle this morning and will walk right through them. :sad2: The ice from the freezing rain yesterday is almost gone and now it's back to our normal days of rain.

I bought a few different styles last year;

Watson: Hurtta Extreme Warmer, Dog Winter Jacket
amazon / 24" / $68.95

Sherlock: Hurtta Expedition Insulated Dog Parka
Chewy / 24" / $75

and both dogs: Hurtta Monsoon Dog Raincoat
Chewy / 24" / $97 x2

Sherlock wore the raincoat yesterday & Watson wore his winter jacket. Both pups wore Ruffwear polar trex booties from amazon, $50 x2.

I'm not sure who recommended here about Musher's secret for their paw pads - best advice ever! :thumbsup2

Same can be said of using white vinegar in the laundry! Clothes are so soft and I don't think I'll have to worry about mold growing in the machine. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We actually created a warming/drying station for the pups with this:

unipaws 6 Panels Extra Wide Freestanding Walk Through Dog Gate with 4 Support Feet
I purchased it used thru Amazon warehouse when they offered an additional 20% off / $142.54 oop.

I also bought waterhog floor matts then fenced off an area by the door. It has an outlet for a blow dryer. I attached a pool noodle on the wooden fence to hang towels on. It's working out really great. No more wet floors or puddles to soak our socks! :dog:

Her jacket was a lightning deal so saved $10. My hubs' favorite part is the reflective strip on the back and he can see her anywhere in the backyard in the dark lol. https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-R...09C1HL5ZF/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Thanks for the kind words! This thread is a favorite of mine and I appreciate all you do to help us save money - I always refer people to this thread when they ask about saving on (especially Disney) gift cards :)

I probably should have started thinking about buying those Door Dash cards in November instead of just in the past few days :) Procrastinating never works in your favor for buying gifts lol.

I do need eGifts since I waited so long, I'm sending them to my team at work and they live throughout the country.

Worst case scenario, I'll buy the remaining cards I need from Target at 5% off tomorrow :)

Merry Christmas!
