Same! I also use mine on Vet bills and weekly kennel expenditures for my pups. Restaurants, salons work well provided the you don't go over the tip tolerance.

When I was in the cart the RMN add on asked if I wanted it to search for deals so I did that and the same 10% came up. Is that all I have to do? I get that gift cards might be excluded but it may or may not track.

Yes, you are good to go! Hopefully your wife gave you her RMN referral link when you signed up!

Just thinking, sounds like you created an online account and added the RMN The Deal Finder browser extension? Still good to go. Personally I don't use the extension. Nothing wrong with it or anyone who does, I just don't want all my activity tracked. Need to know.
