So you would have to buy specifically Marriot Bonvoy gcs? Is that how it works? Thanks!
I’m gonna charge $250 at Swan on the credit card. I think every Marriott hotel participates in the bonvoy program, all of their brands, so charging $250 of your hotel at any Marriott hotel should work.

I have had it work on gift cards from Marriott/Marriott owned chains when purchased at a hotel but that is ymmv. Call the hotel ahead of time to confirm they sell gc as many don’t. It doesn’t work online. Certain chains won’t take Marriott gift cards, look online to see exclusions. Those that do take all Marriott gift cards (a gift card that says Fairfield Inn works fine at a Marriott or Swan because it’s technically a Marriott gift card).

Nothing too exciting today folks, I imagine we won't see much for a while, hopefully BJ's offers bulk discounts on Disney GC's in January like they did in 2020.

Best Buy: Save 10% On Select Gift Cards
Includes: Barnes & Noble, Bass Pro Shops, Buffalo Wild Wings & Olive Garden
Expiry date unknown (probably January 16, 2022). GCG
T-Mobile Tuesday: Free Year Of Craftsy Premium, $4 Movie Ticket To Scream & More

Sam’s Club: $60 In Giftcards For Using Scan N Go, Curbsibe Pickup & Ship To Home
Targeted via e-mail. Subject line is ‘Incoming: $60.00 eGift card!’

Yep, got that and was looking specifically for Swan. I'll give them a call, DH and I have the offer on both our cards. Nice bit of savings if they sell gift cards. :thumbsup2

Thanks buddy and thanks everyone for your well wishes.
No, unfortunately we're out of the money. DS has mid winter break in February, switching dates would have been ideal but they were not willing to work with us. I even offered to pay more for the difference as well as take a loss but they just wouldn't budge.
Well, that is bull pucky. "Too bad, so sad" is not a valid covid19 response. ESPECIALLY when they say right on their Covid19 Protocols page, https://caberfaepeaks.com/covid-19/, "We recommend purchasing tickets, rentals & lessons in advance to guarantee availability." Riiight. Purchase your tickets now so we can keep your money if you get sick.

I would make them regret that. Now that you’re feeling better you can be a thorn in their side. We all go though so many hoops to save a few bucks here or there that it’s worth your time to get them to redate your tickets for February. Reach out to them one more time and talk to a manager. If they give you pushback, mention sadly that you'll have to let your friends and family know that you no longer recommend them for a family vacation. If they still say "no" then I would carpet bomb them. Leave a review on their social media. Mention them on your social media about how they screwed you and tag them. Leave them a review on Google and review them on Yelp. People are so used to more liberal cancelation policies and companies working with them should they call ill (or even if they become uncomfortable to travel) that they need to know that Caberfae Peaks in Cadillac MI is not one of those companies.

I’m a little late, but I was able to redeem my full Amex offer for $10 statement credits after spending $35 on Walmart online purchases, up to 4x. I wasn’t sure if it would work since I had a few cancelled orders, but I purchased 3 $50 Disney gcs online, separately, and received $10, $10, and $20 in statement credits. So I suppose I could have just bought three $50 gcs in one transaction, the wording is always so confusing. I didn’t always get the congrats on the offer redemption email from Amex. The offer is through 1/31 so there’s still some time left on it!

It was a headache buying gcs from Walmart but I got $150 in DGCs for $110 so I’m happy in the end!

I'll try one more time, in fact I'll call them later today and ask for a manager. When I called it was on the first day of our dated lift tickets, maybe they expected a phone call prior to that, idk but I was at the peak of feeling awful and just didn't have it in me to press. This is a family owned & operated business and I know they've been hit hard. I think it's within us to show a little faith and a lot of compassion during this time. We absolutely love going there and this would not cause me to burn that bridge, too many wonderful memories. I think I'll try to find a room first, mid-winter break is a super busy time.

Having trouble with the giftcard website. Is thus happening to anyone else? Any suggestions @ WDW now and need to use this.

What kind of trouble are you having? I was able to log in and add a card. I didn't attempt to transfer balances.

I had no issues signing in and poking around on my lab top. Didn't try cell.
I was on my cell. Just transferred two balances to one card without a problem.

OP, maybe trying a different browser will help?

I'm having a hard time finding accommodations for February. :(
I originally booked the lodge 8 months ago, there's nothing now. I'll have DH look into his offers via work, maybe he'll find something.

Isn't there a charge for mailing gift cards?

When I originally saw the promotion I saw the same but started trying to use it again at the end of the year. At the time the date was removed and says as long as the promotion is in your offers (picture of the offer attached)

In addition, you can tell when the offer tracks as it will have offer$ in green next to the transaction. Below is my purchase today:

I feel stupid and I'm really not, but is there something special I need to do to my Venmo app to get it to work for a CVS purchase? I have a $10 off $20 that I've attempted to use twice now and it won't go through. The first time I was using self check so just used my CC that also had an offer on it for CVS. Tonight I had the cashier scan my Venmo code and it failed. I have my bank set as funding. When I pull up the QR/barcode to scan in store it has my bank at the bottom as funding.

So now I have a $25 charge on my Venmo acct from CVS and a receipt for $0 with no DGC and fingers crossed that they refund it or it doesn't actually pull from my bank.

I've also attempted to use Paypal QR to pay in store at CVS and it failed.

My CashApp Sam's boost is 10% today and I can get that one to work lol
