That's a good a deal, though I think there is a time limit to use the Amazon promotional credit. I don't think you will find a better deal as long as you can use the Amazon credit.

I want to give you a warning about using gift cards to purchase AppleCare. Do not redeem the gift cards to add to your Apple balance. You can purchase AppleCare with Apple gift cards, but you have to go to an Apple Store, and you need to leave the balance on the gift cards. You cannot purchase AppleCare from your Apple balance, and you cannot purchase AppleCare from home with a gift card. I think there is also no way to apply a discount, like a student discount, when purchasing AppleCare with gift cards.

It's a weird quirk, and it comes up from time to time. Here's a recent thread on reddit. The thread implies that this is something new that began this summer, but it's been this way for years.

For me I usually get the email that RMN was notified of the purchase around 3 or 4 pm the day after I make the purchase. I’m in the central time zone.

I got the promotional credit from the apple gift card and it allows you to apply it to buy another gift card, as long as it is not an Amazon gift card or the same gift card the credit came from. So I used it to buy happy treats gift cards, which I will just convert into Disney or Amazon at gamestop.

ShopDisney canceled my order that I placed via Retail Me Not :-/
I ordered 2 holiday design e-gift cards
$500 + $200

I also placed a $500 PHYSICAL gift card via shop Disney and Rakuten. That is tracking so far…

E-gift card via Ibotta is still not showing so thinking that did not work, tho Ibotta is tracking for my Sam’s Club gift cards purchases and Best Buy gift card purchases.

Has anyone used Raise.com to buy a gift card? The GC's themselves are not discounted really at all but you get 15% off for signing up for the site.

I used them for a different GC before and it ended up not working, and they refunded me 100% the next day.

I've used them for restaurant gift cards for traveling to Disney World and it worked fine. I tried to buy a Disney GC and it had no funds on it so I was refunded 100% the next day.

I used RMN yesterday for the Sams DGC deal. No cash back is pending at RMN, so I guess thats a no go. I will update this post if anything changes.

You ordered $700 of gift cards on one RMN click through? Since the cash back limit is $50 per transaction, you wouldn't want to order more than $333 per transaction when RMN is at 15%.

I've never had Disney cancel a GC order I placed, but I never tried for $700 EGC in one go.

Yesterday morning DH received an email from Discover for the this offer:

• Make Discover Your Default Payment, Get $10 Off (expires 12/31/22)

I saw this offer a while back and tried numerous times to get it to work but it never did (though some times they do without being targeted). Last night, DH used the link provided by Discover and it still wouldn't work. He called Discover who said talk to Amazon, Amazon said talk to Discover. It took 2 hours to finally get Amazon CS to manually apply $10 credit.

And as a reminder... shopDisney eDGC can be added to your phones digital wallet - just click the link in the email. But it's usablity is rather limited, I've only been able to pay at WDW, by allowing them to scan the bar code at the stores or food carts.


I've done both physical and ecard on shopdisney with RMN.... never has made any difference. (yet)

And I've done a bunch of different physical cards... as gifts for grandkids when we went on a WDW/DCL combined trip back in Sept. Those have already al tracked and paid out.

I remember you mentioned you had to buy $3,500 with of GCs. Wonder if Disney detected it as “fraudulent” or you reached a daily threshold of gift card purchases? Hope the rest work out for you!

I did have them "hold" a GC purchase last year.... I had to call them after two day of not seeing anything move on it, said they had flagged it since there were four exact orders all the same (4 x $500). I just verified it was what I wanted and they processed it. No issues at all this year, actually everything has processed much faster than last year.
