For me I usually get the email that RMN was notified of the purchase around 3 or 4 pm the day after I make the purchase. I’m in the central time zone.

Mine showed the same as posted above attachment for RMN but then got an email an hour or so ago (purchase made last night) saying RMN was notified of the purchase and $45 cashback pending. Who knows if it will actually pay out though. I also placed a Rakuten order but that seems like it is a no go.

I could swear it said CB limit was $100 yesterday. It was late and I had looked at a million options and just wanted to be done. Lol

I would guess they cancelled bc of the amount you purchased in one day. SD often (in my experience) wants to confirm it's a legit purchase when multiple orders have been placed on a single account. This is just my guess.

I did Rakuten last year..... tracked for about a week, and then got pulled. I know last year there were folks trying to figure out why some purchases tracked and others didn't... physical vs ecard, and which physical or ecard also seemed to make a difference. In the end though it takes over a month to really confirm if it tracks and pays out. So hard to really say what worked and didn't work.

Be great to come back in a month and everyone report on Honey, Rakuten, TC and RMN.

I remember you mentioned you had to buy $3,500 with of GCs. Wonder if Disney detected it as “fraudulent” or you reached a daily threshold of gift card purchases? Hope the rest work out for you!

That's a good a deal, though I think there is a time limit to use the Amazon promotional credit. I don't think you will find a better deal as long as you can use the Amazon credit.

I want to give you a warning about using gift cards to purchase AppleCare. Do not redeem the gift cards to add to your Apple balance. You can purchase AppleCare with Apple gift cards, but you have to go to an Apple Store, and you need to leave the balance on the gift cards. You cannot purchase AppleCare from your Apple balance, and you cannot purchase AppleCare from home with a gift card. I think there is also no way to apply a discount, like a student discount, when purchasing AppleCare with gift cards.

It's a weird quirk, and it comes up from time to time. Here's a recent thread on reddit. The thread implies that this is something new that began this summer, but it's been this way for years.

UGH!! Chatted with apple and they are not willing to move the money back onto the card. May try again another day but this guy was not budging. :-/ Now I need to figure out what I can use $200 in credit for.

You may or may not get an email. No email doesn't mean it didn't track. You may get the email when it credits. My shop dis from Friday credited today. Nothing else from Friday has. I didn't get an email for this one or from at least one or two others.

I just got a new iPhone and purchased AppleCare for it. I bought the subscription version of AppleCare and the purchase was billed to my account balance which I loaded with giftcards to pay for other subscription services that I was already enrolled in.

FYI: my shop Disney e gift card payouts from earlier this month have disappeared from my Rakuten cash back balance. Family member had the same thing happen. Physical card payout from yesterday is still showing, but I assume that will disappear in a few days too.

I saw people in various Facebook groups complaining about this. If you cash out approved cash back before it’s reversed is there anything these sites can do to get it back?

They go pending and during that time it isn't actually in your account. It can always be changed and clawed back while it's pending. That's what's happening. Once it's in your account as part of your balance it wouldn't get taken back and there wouldn't be a need to hurry up and cash out.

Ibotta might be the one exception to this but with their new rules I've stopped using them.

I have had Chase offers take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks before it shows up.

you'll have a negative balance on your account if you've already cashed out.

Thanks I had the offer on one of my DH cards too but hesitated using it until I was sure it worked on mine, my kohls didn’t have DGC. So I bought Amazon and also playstation for my son. Still a good deal if I do get the 20% back.
