I don't know what's going on weather wise with you but we got some serious snow! It's 19° here in Macomb MI and with wind chills it feels like -3°. When DH let Sherlock out the snow fell into the entryway.

We got about 6 inches of snow in mid missouri. Which is a lot for a 8 lb pomeranian lol. My 65 lb pitbull just goes to the door and sticks her head out and turns around back to the couch. We've had to force her to go out. It's been like -18 here with the windchill the last couple days. I'm over it.

Data point: I ordered some Disney GCs from Sam's Club today. I clicked through from Rakuten, and my 1% cash back posted. I was surprised that I also got a notice that I got credit for 2% cash back from Dosh, even though I didn't click through from Dosh and even though gift cards are still listed as exclusions on Dosh. It's just pending, and if history is any indication with Dosh/Sam's, it will stay pending for 90 days, but then hopefully it will post! Adding to that, 5% cash back by using my Chase Freedom Flex, and that was a nice tidy (and easy!) little discount!

I was able to buy a $500 visa gift card using the self checkout at Walmart. I was shocked since almost every store doesn't let you buy a visa gift card at self checkout and most even make you show ID for such a large amount.

Anyone gotten of those lately? I don’t want to buy small cards here and there and I don’t have any cards with warehouse rewards right now. Would Target be the best bet? That’s 5%. We have Target CC, Citi Costco CC, Discover, and a BJ’s membership.

Someone posted in a FB group this week that their local BJs had the $500 cards for $469.99 in store, $10 off the normal price. I don't know if the deal is at other stores. If your BJs is close, you might want to check there. That would be 6%.

Thanks - I did go to the store yesterday just to check. The $500 cards were listed higher than online, but the $100 cards were posted $93.99. I tried checking out with one and it rang up $96.99. They did an override for that one but I think it was outdated pricing.

This happened to me at my BJ's back in December. The signs under the Disney Gift cards were marked $469.99 and $93.99 so I go one of each. They rang up higher but BJ's did override the price. I guess the signs were left from the November sale.

Yep that was my thought too. There were some other signs still there but while they were willing to change it for one card, I’m not so sure they’d do it for a few thousand worth!

Depending on the State they may have to. Some States have consumer laws that state if a product is listed for a certain price, such as on a tag on the product or a sign in the store, the store has to honor that price. Prices in a flyer don't always have to be honored as there is usually a disclaimer.

Some stores have lobbied (successfully in some states) not to have prices on each item and only say under the product on the shelf. Some of that is in hopes that if there is a pricing error in the stores favor the consumer forgets what the price was and pays the higher price. The stores lobby for it under the guise of saving money on labor. I think some warehouse stores like BJ's etc in some states are exempt from this policy.
