I know I've read someone had issues with BJs not activating DGC's, but what about Sam's? I order $75 (3x$25) and all are $0 balance. I hopped on chat and they've escalated with gift card team, just wondering what I have ahead of me. I thought I was paying DVC dues tonight.

I did not buy DGC from Target.

I did buy
- cell phone at Target (12/29), $50 pending until 2/12
- DGC at Staples (12/30), $15.30 pending until 2/13
- $10 Roblox eGC at Target using redcard (12/31), $0.95 pending until 2/15

If you pay for your DVC dues with a cc, can you call back later and have them use DGC instead?

I've done this instore at Macy's; purchased merchandise with cc, then later went to CS and returned the merchandise and repurchased with discounted gift cards. Some items were actually lower by then but I never paid more for the same merchandise.

With DVC dues you can't pay monthly on a cc. What you can do, is set up monthly direct withdrawals from you bank account. You can then log onto the system each month before the transaction date a make a DGC transaction. Then when your date for the withdrawal comes, Disney will not make the withdrawal because the monthly balance is now 0. So the answer is "yes" expect, you do not need to call and it replaced a debit rather than a cc charge. The only way to pay the dues by cc is to pay in full in Jan/Feb for the year.

This also only works on dues. If you have a loan from Disney for the purchase of the DVC points, monthly payments cannot be made with DGC.

I think someone said sb didn’t work/ I know I tried mypoints 1/1 and that did not credit.

ETA I am seeing language on swagbucks that says points will not be earned on purchases of gift cards. Same language as mypoints.

Ibotta - GCs are excluded however in the past when they've offered CB for Sam's Club in store, the amount of GCs were included

I stopped using Ibotta years ago so I'm wondering if this still holds true?

Can I let my membership expire and open a new membership under my name but a different email address to get the $20 cash back?
