Question please… I found incredibly cheap airfare August 26-29 about 10 days ago ($82 round trip from DC) with the intention of basically flying down for the Halloween party. Unfortunately, we were preparing to leave on our first Disney cruise and was a little overwhelmed. I decided I would throw this Disney trip together when I returned. Sitting here with Covid (definitely from the cruise because our flights were delayed and cancelled so had to drive each way to make the cruise) and to make matters worse, August 27th is sold out for the Halloween Party. Will it stay sold out? I looked on Undercover Tourist and they are still selling tickets. I have tons of Disney gift cards left so I would prefer to buy directly from Disney. Or should I just buy them from Undercover Tourist while they are available. Or do you know of a way to buy them cheaper? Totally kicking myself right now. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Other people have said that once it’s sold out from Disney, you won’t be able to buy from UT or any other 3rd party. I’d at least give it a try….worse case - it doesn’t go through and you aren’t out any money.

I’ve heard that sometimes Disney will have tickets available on the morning of the event, but nothing you can count on

Yes, I’ve heard that before, but not risking it. Not after this cruise. I think Disney hates me this summer so almost positive it wouldn’t work out. Oh well, I guess I just saved some money. Thanks for the quick response!

Yeah, and some of the examples they give like staying on-site one night and then doing one day at the parks--that's going to be more expensive per day than if you got a multi-day ticket
I just priced out a park hopper one day ticket for a friend looking to join me next month and my eyes about shot out of my head when I saw $200 - and at low season. We’ll be sticking to one park that day!

Oh, absolutely. You're paying basically the same fee to do a hopper as if you were staying a week

DH and I are going for a 3-night trip in October. When I bought our airfare, we ended up with a flight that arrives at 11am and departs at 8pm which gives us 4 days that could be used for parks. Since we are doing MNSSHP one day, I thought maybe I'd get us 2-day park hoppers. DH hasn't been to WDW since 2016 so FoP (AK), RotR, MMRR and SDD (HS) and Remy's (EP) are all rides he's never experienced. He would love GotG, but I would die of motion sickness:sick:. On top of that, it's F&W time....my favorite! My thought was to do 2 days, AK/EP one day and HS/EP on the other day with the goal of only doing the rides DH hasn't experienced. I priced it out and it would be almost $900! Nope, not for 2 days. We move at a leisurely pace, and the price of the tickets (combined with the fact that we'd need LL to ride most of the rides that are must-do), it is simply not worth it for this trip.

I even considered the "3-day, 3-park" ticket. I could make that work by doing HS on our arrival day, AK on the morning of MNSSHP day, and Epcot in the afternoon/evening on our third day. The last day would be spent recovering until we leave. That would give us all 4 parks and it would only be $550 total, plus the cost of LL. The downside is that we could not do HDDR and it would be more of a whirlwind trip than I had planned. Now that DH is retired he "doesn't do alarms":rotfl2:and getting him up for a 6:30am flight is going to be enough of a challenge.

What does DP, DH, DS mean?

Thank you! I avoided reading this cheat sheet and tried deciphering with the abbreviations link before, this was a great test haha!

I guess I spoke too fast, I called Pepper again today and requested a callback and someone actually called me back this time and when I explained about not receiving the $20 promotion they applied it to my account. So at least they do have people at customer service, and I will give them another chance!
Are you still happy using Pepper?
