DVC has now made me certifiably anxious to see if we are going home to SSR next February! We made an online request Saturday and I realize no one was working on Sunday but why can't they just tell me!! I keep checking my e-mail to see if anything has come through yet and nothing and yes I already have the countdown set in hopes it will come true!

So for all you DVC veterans how long does it usually take to find out if your reservation set?

Thanks

UPDATE
Finally found out last night that we are all set. We got the dates we requested and the room type at our home resort. I am soooo excited. Now to start overplanning the trip ;)

Hmmm....sometimes I do hear over the weekend, occasionally MS CMs work from home. However, it was reported on another board that some WDW computer systems were down over the weekend. If you don't hear by tomorrow afternoon, I'd definately give them a call.

Not to be a wise guy, but there is a thing called a telephone. You can make your reservations and get an immediate confirmation number. This is why on line reservations will always be a remote way of making reservations at DVC. They just do not have the soft-ware to make immediate reservations. I believe all you are really doing is making a e-mail request when using internet.

Of course you get immediate responses via phone, but sometimes it is more convenient by email. The OP simply wanted to know the usual response time.

Email is never immediate (so far), but normally a 2 to 3 day turnaround max.

My husband and I both work full-time and have found it can be tough to make those calls from work. Do you know why reservations doesn't offer additional evening hours or work on the weekends (even a half day on Saturday would be great!!)?

Thank - RuthnPaul

Personnel costs would be added to our dues. But there is/was one day a week they are open a little later (Thursday?)

Thanks everyone!!

DH and I are just so used to being able to plan most of our vacation aspects online that I don't even think it occurred to me to call. Plus I still have memories of bad CRO experiences - even though I know DVC isn't the same :p We still haven't heard but I'm sure we'll know something by tomorrow. It's just so exciting for us to plan our first trip "home" that I think I'm more excited than usual!
