We're leaving WDW on Jan 28th (an early flight out) and this is the day "Splash Mountain" is due to reopen. DS8 was so disappointed when he found out. It was definitely on his "to do" list. Just curious if anyone was ever there to witness something opening a day or two earlier. I only need 1!

yes, what exactly does "refurbishment" mean? what do they do, repair the necessary repairs, or add new things, etc? Just curious!
