Update on the trip I won, Staying at The Grand Floridian

Yes I am jumping and dancing. Yesterday doorbell rang it was FedEx man..... I received my information from Disney on the trip I won for 8, from the WPVI Channel 6/Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

So cool, a special number for me to call, some forms to be filled out, and I have my choice of any Deluxe to stay in. I have picked the GF. I called all my girlfriends and told them the good news. This will be my first stay at GF!!!!

I also picked for our Magical Gathering The International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception. This is going to be such a wonderful trip, I can not wait til May.......

Any reviews of the GF or things I should know please let me know. OH and sorry, I am booked for all 8, I wish I could bring all of you, but I am, in my heart and thoughts of you all...

Oh wow - Congratulations!!!! We're from DE so we know WPVI and Boscov's well and of course the parade. Don't have any advice on the GF as we have never stayed there, however I'd probably choose there too if I won such a contest!!! Have an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy is Tinkerbell Busy this year. There sure is a lot of Pixie Dust flying. I hope I get some on my GF stay in January.

Congratulations! You will have a wonderful time at the GF. We stayed at the GF last September and it was very nice. You are only one monorail stop away from the MK and we took the boat back from the MK to GF because it was much quicker than the monorail. Gasparilla Grill had great BLT's and the pools were a lot of fun and never seemed to get too crowded (we went in mid-late Sept).

That's Great! Now for the bad news about the GF? Oh wait, their is no bad news. The GF is one of the best if not the best resort at WDW. Have a great time.

Congrats on your trip!! I have never won one thing ever, but how great that would be to win a trip to Disney and to stay at the GF!! That's the ultimate!! I'm sure you'll have a great time with your friends. Take lots of pictures and post a trip report upon your return!!
