Lisa and Bob have arrived at WDW. :D She got her car at Budget. She said the guy kept saying, "I've got a bigger car, but I can't give it to you for free. You'll need to pay the difference." She said, "We're fine with a compact car." He ended up giving them the bigger car for the same price. Hmmmm. Methinks he didn't have a compact car. ;) For those of you that don't know, I paid for their plane tickets and hotel as my wedding present to them. I originally had them booked at Dixie Landings (or whatever it's called now), and then I got a good D.C. rate at the Wilderness Lodge. I kept bugg--er, e-mailing Dreams Unlimited, and they were able to get me an Annual Pass rate at the Contemporary. Whoo Hoo! They've only been one time before, and that was when I took them last May for their Christmas present. Alan suspected that I took them just so I could go again. How suspicious of him. :p :D ;) They loved the MK, and I wanted them to be able to walk if possible. They got married in May, and I hadn't told them where they were staying. It's been so much fun bugging them. She said that they love the room. They are on the lake side on a higher floor. I'm so excited. Since we were little girls, Lisa has been a sister/daughter to me. Now that our mother is gone I really feel that way. I just wanted this honeymoon to run smoothly, but I can't control it from Oklahoma. Just call me a control freak. I'm so proud of her for graduating. I hope she and Bob have a fabulous trip.

Dayna, so glad to hear they arrived ok. They will have a wonderful time, and quite frankly, they are probably glad you are not there on their honeymoon! :p  :D

I know how close you are with your sister, and this was such a great present. They will have a wonderful time, even if they are without their social director!!!!

How did she do on her paper? (The one you proofread for her!) Also, did she love all her Hello Kitty stuff? Gosh I miss you! Can't wait to see you in January.

Dayna.. that touched my heart.. filled up with tears again.. How lucky she is to have you in her life..I know what it is like to lose your Mom at an early age and only have siblings left to share your life with.. Of course, we marry and have our husbands and that is very fulfilling but sisters and brothers are very special.. Hugs to you for making her graduation so special.

Hi, Jody. I don't want to actually be there. I just want to control it all for them from Oklahoma and make sure it goes all right. :p :D She made an A on the paper. Whoo Hoo, Lisa. She loved all the H.K stuff (especially the Christmas decorations.) I can't wait to see you in January, also. I hope our husbands don't think we're too nuts.

Marsha, When we were at the graduation last night, we were up in the balcony. We were all looking for her, and I spotted her easily. I thought, "Wow. I don't even have my glasses on. Alan said, "You've known her longer than anyone else in her life right now. You've been looking at her for 33 years. :D " She's an extraordinary person, and she deserves this vacation. I hope they have the time of their life.

Dayna, honey, not sure how to tell you this, but....

They already know we are nuts!!!

LOL! But, alas, it is too late for them!

OK. I'll bite. What's going on in January, ladies?

You're not going to Disney World without us, are you???

Well, I'm going for my DVC stay. I had this all planned out before Dis-Con came along, and I probably should have rebooked it for a shorter time and used some of my points for my Dis-Con stay but I, er, uhm--let's see--"forget". Yeah! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I'll be there from the 17th until the 30th. If anyone is going to be there during that time and would like to get together, I would love it. Jody is going to be there part of the time, and we are going to eat with our hubbies at the California Grill for my 23rd birthday. <--Then I'm going to wake up from my dream, and we are really going to eat at the California Grill for my 37th birthday.

I actually wouldn't want to be 23 again. I'd still be married to my "starter husband."

Good grief, at 23 I was still sweet and innocent. That didn't last long.

Nancy, I made that up, but feel free to use it in conversations if you like. ;) :D :p ***

***I am not making fun of the institution of marriage, but sometimes you make a mistake and life's too short to suffer. <--Another disclaimer.

Dayna, I already used the expression at work today with reference to my starter husband! :D I agree with you life's too short to live with your mistakes. I think all of us involved in my situation are much happier now because we chose to move on. Besides, I like being married now that I'm with the right man.:D
