Update on December99's surgery

As I am sure her DIS friends know, December99 had surgery yesterday morning to alleviate severe carpal tunnel in her left arm/wrist/hand (she had the right arm done in February). She came through the surgery OK, but from what I can tell from the paperwork and her description she needed a general this time as they had some complications with their ability to use the local "block" they tried to apply to arm. Though functionally she seems to be more self sufficient quicker with this not being her dominant arm, she is still in much discomfort and pain. I'm sure she would appreciate any and all good thoughts and pixie dust as she continues her recovery and is unable to DIS for a while. I will print out any well wishes to share with her periodically.

I hope that you are feeling better really soon. Take good care of yourself. I had my right hand done several years ago and am lucky that my left hand is only slightly bothered by it so I have avoided the surgery on that one. See you around here soon, we hope!
