I will be crossing my fingers for all of you in the path of Charly. I have 2 sisters in law who live in Tampa, we have been trying to get in touch with, unsuccessfully I might add, since last night.

I also hope Charly is a WDW fan and avoids that area altogether!!

Whew!! I spent the day securing the park; we were removing loose items, sandbagging, parking the trucks indoors, securing doors and windows, marking drains with stantion poles, covering computer equipment, etc...we had a great team out there. It was very strange and eerie to spend the day in an empty AK.

Afterwards, some of us were re-deployed to resorts while the rest of us were sent home to return at 5am to put everything back together for park opening.

Crossing fingers I don't blow away

I'll check in again when I can, however I'll be working until 9pm tomorrow night *whew*

My five year old is really worried about all the animals too! He keeps asking me if Mickey is going to make sure all the animals are safe. I really have to learn to watch updates on this kind of stuff when he is not around.
