UPDATE: Dress problems - shipping crisis!

My dress is pretty full, and I DO keep looking at it and thinking 'Hahahahaha... someone is having a laugh if they think THAT is going to fit in THERE'... but the box comes with instructions of how to pack the dress etc, and the bridal shop was convinced when I bought the dress that they could fit it in hand luggage!

Not sure about the weight... I guess I would have to weigh my dress to see how much it weighs... but the box is around 2 - 2.5 kg I guess

I was sure an overseas wedding was supposed to be LESS stressful!!

Thanks for the info. It will be fun trying to get mine in a box that size, hence taking a 'mock-up' of one in first.

I like the comment about overseas wedding supposed to be less stressful - YEAH RIGHT!! Bit at least we have Dis
