Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

great update! I am soo sad we didn't get to make it around the WS. Looks like a great time!

The past two trips are the first two that I ever really got or enjoyed EPCOT. Surprisingly it did nothing for me before the girls... which is shocking to me. I really think that the Living Seas is so fun for them and I love Soarin so much that I will always want to visit that park! I am sorry you did not get enough of WS... next trip:thumbsup2

You're not finished with Grand Fiesta yet??? Now that is too funny and a story for Em when she is a jaded, too-cool-for-anything teenager. "I remember when you were little and wanted to find Donald over and over and over again!" :rotfl:

It is funny... it has became our last EPCOT ride now two trips in a row... what do you want to do again- and yes they both say the boat in Mexico with Donald. I will have to force them to follow this tradition for the next billion years... even when they are too cool teens!

Wow Great update!! I can't believe how many characters you saw at Epcot!! LOVE the kiss from Snow White..Do you mind me asking what time in the afternoon did you tour the WS? Are the characters always there?

We usually go from 11-12:30 and leave and then come back for dinner at 5 and only once saw characters there...I am trying to decide where to go for arrival day next trip and was thinking MK but might now do Epcot WS for characters after your post...

GREAT update! How precious was Em's kiss:cutie: That is sweet that Hannah got rewarded with a candy too for being patient:thumbsup2 Your character interaction was so cool! I say you are AWESOME for letting your girls do the mexican boat ride so many times!:goodvibes

What kind of theme are you going for in Luke's room? The blue/red remind me of sort a nautical theme so why not hang up one of those nautical wheels or something?

I loved your day in Epcot! I'm hoping to catch the candy maker in Japan but both my brother and I are older so im afraid she'll overlook us, did you see any adults getting candy?

I love how many characters you saw in Epcot. We rarely see more than one or two. You were in Epcot for along time without a break. My guess is that you head out of the park soon. Would you ever eat in Mexico again? I too wouldn't be too impressed if you were served Tostitos. You captured some great shots of the kids in action, enjoying the magic. Those are priceless memories.

We went around world showcase I would guess around 1.... we made it to Japan at 2:15. I know the times guide lists when the characters are out, but they do take some short breaks along the way... and replace one another.

I am pretty sure by evening they are done being out!

You know the boat ride required little of me and it was in the AC... and no line- all things that made it easy to repeat!

I do believe than an adult family did get some candy... it is impt to be there in the front row though to get some is what I found.

Mexico CS is what I would have been happy with... but we wanted to eat in the ac. DH has no adventure in terms of what he wants... and so a lot of the WS is out for him. I would not pick Mexico for my meal of choice, but if it makes him happy.... sure!

Not necessarily a trip report... but an update nevertheless........Em's scrapbook is caught up.. complete with our last WDW trip and even the 4th of July fun! Needless to say I am feeling thrilled to have that finished! So I will get EPCOT done today (Friday). Hannah's books will be complete when I get last August and this June trip done... hopefully this weekend since the weather might be iffy and we don't have a lot planned other than a sibling class at the hospital for the girls!

That has got to be a great sense of accomplishment!

My dd wanted to check out the Home Makeover set tonight so we drove over. We could only get within the block but she was happy to see all the busses and other vehicles. You wouldn't believe how many people were walking around there. I didn't feel safe driving!

That's awesome that you finished Em's scrapbook and are almost finished with Hannah's. I tried to follow your lead and catch up Chelsea's and Connor's, but just wasn't feeling it -- so I started scrapbooking this June's trip!

Way to go kiddo!!! I had such high hopes of getting much more accomplished while Tom was gone, but Mom and I took to watching a bunch of chick flicks instead!!! Still a good use of our time---they were good movies! You have inspired me to get crackin' though!! I think Megan and I might just pull out the scrapbooking stuff today--she colors and makes BEAUTIFUL pictures while I scrapbook! It is going to probably be too hot and humid outside to do much out there anyway!

My neighbors are checking it out today.... I am so curious. When they said West Chester I hoped of course it was a family from the school I teach at. However it sounds like the family is beyond well deserving. I would love to be manpower to help... but I doubt a 33 weeek pregnant lady is what they want!

It was fun to do Em's.... but Hannah has some great pictures that I cannot wait to do, especially from last year. I was tearing up looking at the WL pics from last trip... we really had a great trip and loved staying there!

I told my mom I would be done before she returns from her trip (Sunday:rotfl2: ) I am not sure if that will actually happen... but I am close. I literally filled over an album for Emily... which I think is insane! But hopefully I won't get behind for the rest of the summer and can never get a year and a half behind again!

I am now uploading the rest of EPCOT pics... not much! Hopefully I can get EPCOT done this afternoon!

Congrats on finishing Em's scrapbook. I am all caught up as well. I have the 4th of July pics on order and then I'll really be done...for a while anyway.

Looking forward to your next update!

Congrats on finishing your scrapbooks :woohoo: . I would love to do scrapbooking but I just don't know how to get started  . I don't think I could decide which pictures would go in I love all our pictures why can't they all be worthy :sad2: ? I would feel guilty :guilty: for not choosing the other ones. If you have any hints on getting started I would love to know. :scared: ME AND SCRAPBOOKING :scared: :rotfl2:

As we walked back into future world we split from DH... he headed to Test Track while the girls and I stayed at the fountains.

As DH met us back at the fountains, we went into the character connection building to the restrooms to change clothes. I changed Hannah quick... and she and DH went to ride Figment again... while I finished up with Emily. Then we headed finally to the Land! I had been dying to ride Soarin' since it really the only ride that I could do this trip that I love since Splash Mountain was out and we did not hit HS or AK. So DH took the girls on the Living with the Land boat ride and with my FP in hand I headed to Soarin'. I must admit... I waited forever in the FP line, which kinda made me crazy. It took at least 25 minutes... which was hard to do when I knew DH and the girls were waiting. For about a minute I felt guilty... but then I thought- duh... I had not rode that much, I was the one always waiting!

It was a great ride of course. I so wish Hannah would do it... I guess Em and peer pressure will have to work our next trip! Even hearing the music made my throat get a lump... I so love it.

Then we had dinner at the Seasons Food court. DH and I got the cesear salads, the girls had the mac and cheese dinner along with most of my salad's chicken!

Then Soarin again for me- the boatride again for them! No slow line to use my FP this time- yea!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time I was a bit of a pain... when I got ready to load... I asked for row one- so worth it! I figured one person fits lots of places!

Then we went back to the living seas.. It was getting close to 7:30, I think DH wanted to catch the last turtle talk, but we did not, instead we did the nemo ride again.

Finally we went back and got right on Spaceship Earth. I took Hannah, who loved it. Em tolerated it, no tears but not real thrilled. Hannah was totally fascinated by it, and I really enjoyed the changes. It was fun to go on it again!

By this point we were running tired...and knew we did not plan to see Illuminations- remember Hannah hates fireworks! DH had a second Test Track FP that was burning a hole in his pocket... so off he went while the girls and I got Luke a gift in Mousegears.... a darling stuffed Tigger... that sometimes ends up in Hannah's room:confused3

I guess that Hannah did not realize daddy left us... and when we went to meet him at the end of Test Track we had some tears... she wanted to ride it she had decided:confused: sorry- next time Hannah!

Finally time for one more ride... and of course what did the girls pick- Donald's boatride in Mexico. So we trudged through the crowds around WS....and into the Mexico pavillion for another encore ride. We actually only rode it once... we needed to get out of EPCOT and on a bus before Illuminations began.

So here are the only pics from that night... sorry!

And then we headed out... we did not find a bus already there so we did get stuck for a few minutes as Illuminations began, much to Hannah's dismay! We did get on a bus though before the show was over and were back to POFQ quickly. The bus was super crowded, but nothing like it would have been had we stuck around. All in all.... a long 12 hour day- but do you think we crashed? No... we went to the pool for a night swim and got snacks at the food court- me another Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich - yummy and the girls got Mickey's Ice Cream Bars, and DH a shake!

We called it a night finally.... with a slow day ahead of us...no parks, just swimming!

Up next: A slide not fit for Em, our rainy moment, and a chocolate mess!

Doesn't it feel good to be caught up... I had gotten to the point I dreaded thinking about their books, and now I feel accomplished again.

Updated late! 12:30.. I fell asleep early (8) but the dear little Em woke me up at 10... and now I cannot fall asleep!

You know... I just pick the best... or the memorable match the child pictures. I still know I can print off any I miss for something at any time. My Hannah's baby book is simple, I am much more creative and into trying things now, but by no means am I creating spectacular or expensive books... I also work hard to try to write in their books... just simple paragraphs so we can remember someday when things are fading in my memory!

WOO HOO!:cool1: That must feel great!:thumbsup2 You finished just in time to get ready to start a third book!:rotfl: :goodvibes

Yes... I cannot imagine scrapbooking three kids at WDW. Especially with one having different interests... aka a boy. My goal is to work on making sure to have pictures of each kid apart from the others... I struggle hard to find pictures of the girls by themselves. I also found that I missed parts of Hannah's wdw trip because she was with DH and I had the camera or vice versa...

Wow that was a long day, you did so much too, I loved all the character photos and the Snow White kiss was so cute. It sounds like little Em is full of questions, so sweet :goodvibes

Pity about Hannahs candy, but how nice she got one!

I just love Soarin', too! It's my favorite ride at Epcot and the music is just so wonderful!!! I'm glad that you were able to ride it twice!

You guys get sooo much done on your park days -- I am just in awe!!!

What an awesome day at Epcot! You guys sure got a lot accomplished and had so many special moments for everyone! I feel the same way about Soarin, that music really just puts me at peace.

Way to fgo on finishing the scrapbooks. It's a dream of mine to be able to say that! :lmao:

great update! you guys did alot that day too! Glad you got to ride Soarin', that is a pretty cool ride, I can't wait for Emma to be able to ride all that stuff next time.. Lucky about the buses, that was the night that was soo bad.
