I worry

About my parents. They're both about 70 and I know they're not going to be around forever. My dad is losing his hearing and is a bit creaky these days. It's not a nice thought.

Yeah, i understand that feeling. I have my father who is 72 and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in 2019. He survived but acts like he's 6 and is starting to show signs of dementia now with aggression. Add on a hideously enormous hernia that looks like an alien about to burst through his abdomen.

Then my stepmother, a few years older, very visually impaired and needs a walker to get around, but also can't get in or out of most cars, so is mostly homebound.

My mother, mother in-law, father in-law have health issues as well to varying degrees of severity and they are all in their 70s.

Funny enough, the oldest in the group, my stepfather is the healthiest of them all.
