I Loved your trip report, it was great. I only hope our trip next May with our 4 1/2 year old and 1 1/2yr old will go as well.
You scrapbook pages came out Awesome I wish I could get motivated, but it seems like time is always against me.

No honestly... at least your kids will allow you to work in more peace than mine!

I think I am in denial about Friday! Although, I did start putting together an order for work clothes from Gap today. So not as much fun as vacation clothes shopping.

That is one nice thing about the kids getting older -- they do leave me alone when I am scrapbooking.

I love your pages! I am an avid scrapbooker myself and always have tons that I could put in an album. I love how your pictures actually show off the fun times and do not focus on all of the embelleshments that are out there (and are pretty expensive!!! ). So many "expert layouts" barely have any pictures in there at all!!! I am glad there is someone else out there like me who love to scrap actual pictures!

I am sure with your new baby you will have many more pictures to put in albums!!!

I am much more into pictures than all the other stuff... it makes the cost go crazy, especially when doing two and soon three books.... I do love to get cute paper... that is probably my downfall, but then I hate to cover it all up so no one sees it.

wow!!!!!!! you are so talented! i wish i had the creativity and patience to scrapbook. i bought a kit last year for our disney trip and it's still laying in my guest bedroom. these are so cute and it's just really neat that the girls each have something to keep forever to remember their trips! what does the picture of hannah making a wish at lunch at cindy's castle say? i love that picture.

Remember Dawn... I did last years trip this past month... so it is never too late... you take such awesome pictures it would be a great book, plus you could get some experience in so that someday you can do your baby's book!

The wish picture I stuck the sticker someday my prince will come... which is her favorite song! I love that picture too!

Thank you! I hope your trip is great next May too! My biggest advice to why my girls were good was the days off... even last year we took some days off to just relax...

After about two hours at the pool, Hannah and I headed to the room, got ready and we were headed back to MK around 4ish. We had a lot of FPs to use and could not wait to get started. As we arrived we had to stop to see

Em snubbed him! I was kinda shocked!

Then a family picture

The plan was to catch the train and then DH and Hannah would get off in Frontierland and ride BTMR and Splash and call us... and we would then meet somewhere.... which totally worked for me.

Waiting for the train: I love this background... I want to remember to get pics here again!

Yes we have Tink shirts on because we wanted to see Wishes! Hannah is a big talker... will she actually survive a firework show????

As Emily and I took a leisurely ride around the train, twice I believe we finally decided to get off back at Main Street. I love to walk down it, so we headed with our stroller that we picked up down Main Street one last time. We got a call from DH and decided to meet at the Jungle Cruise... We had three FPs remaining to use!

I think that I enjoy this ride when it is dark.... or getting dark better, but the girls sure like it!

Then we headed to Fantasyland... crazy... but we wanted to see Mickey's Philharmagic again... Hannah just loves it and Em really could not get enough of it either. I am sure that is one of my top attractions at WDW... I love the storylines it includes and songs... Hannah was singing right along this time too!

As we exited I just had to snap this picture... she just walked around like she knew where she was going... and knew we would follow!

We used some of our Fantasyland FPs for Pooh and Peter Pan and rode It's a Small World before heading to the haunted mansion... all 4 of us. Em was not a fan... she did not cry, but did not want to ride again. Hannah kept saying it was one of her favorites though, which I think is great. DH was glad he got to see that Hannah did really like it!
Then off to Pecos Bills for dinner: we all had hamburgers and fries... I just love the fixin bar with cheese and all those goodies!

Then we headed to to Tomorrowland... we had Space Mountain FPs burning a hole in DHs pocket... so he headed off to ride that while we met Buzz... Hannah thought Luke would like that (maybe she does get that he won't like the princesses and we might have to expand our characters who we meet)

We also hit Buzz while we were there too! I wanted to try Stitch... and use at least one FP but I did not want to take the time... we still had some riding to do. Plus I rarely hear that it is worth it... but wasting 4 FPs was not something I like to do.


Then we headed back to Adventureland and rode the Magic Carpets of Alladin again... and decided we wanted to catch Spectromagic again... if we could find a spot. It was close to 8:40 by this point... and we were so lucky to find a spot by the bridge in Frontierland.... so we got settled in as DH went to get the girls ice cream and a frozen lemonade and raspberry frozen drink for him that we had seen earlier in Adventureland- yummo!

Em was ready... I brought our lightup toys with us tonight... I did not have them the first day at MK because I thought we would head to the hotel, but we never did!

Once again... we all just love this parade!

We then used up the rest of our Fantasyland FPs... saying goodbye to Peter Pan until next trip! Then we decided to use our FPs that DH and Hannah recieved when Splash Mountain broke down on Dumbo! There was a long line and we knew it would be a fun ride to do at night... but we only had about 10 minutes until the fireworks started....

We went to the CM, Joseph, standing there and explained and showed him our special ride passes... he was too sweet. He told us to keep them and use them somewhere else (they were good for another week at any park) and that he was in need of two special Dumbo pilots and asked the girls to be them. Mind you the line was 30 minutes long... so this was so nice! He asked the girls their names, where they were from and what color Dumbo they wanted - pink of course. Then we waited a turn before we boarded, first, so we could get the right color. Joseph was there for a college internship and he was from MI. We talked about the craziness of the Dumbo line and how he said how long the Toy Story Mania Ride had been at HS so far... and how neat of a ride it was.... he was super sweet and nice!
We also got special Pilot licenses from Joseph and A Year of A Million Dreams Certificate (in scrapbook pic). So so so nice of him... they even announced our special pilots as we took off.

But as this magical ride happened... so did Wishes... and let me tell you Hannah was not happy about that... we quickly got off the ride and decided to go back to see the characters in Toontown if we could... to get away from the loud fireworks. So I did not get to see Wishes... which is sad, but I knew that Hannah would not like the fireworks, some things just don't change. We booked it back to Toontown and decided to see the gang first... waiting only a few minutes, but know that the fireworks must go off from back behind the tent because it was super loud... but she was excited to see some friends and was okay!

Much better reaction than at Chef Mickey's!

There was no line for the princesses....

Em still had things to say...

Then Hannah and DH went to ride the Barnstormer as Em and I visited Minnie's house... and then Hannah and DH rode the Indy Speedway one last time.. no lines now as it was 11 when they got off. The second Spectromagic was happening... and wanted to leave before the parade was done, would we make it?

We headed down Mainstreet, cutting through the bakery... which had no lines... time for a snack for later on I thought as I bought three Chocolate Chip Cookies... I had never seen that place empty before!

We returned the stroller and said our goodbyes... with a teary mom and Hannah... what a magical day!

A bus arrived within a minute or so... and we left before the masses exited, so our bus was pretty empty! Hannah fell asleep, and DH carried her back to the room... but the other one...

pretty crazy for almost midnight! So DH Em and I ate the cookies before drifting to sleep for the last time at WDW! However we had some fun planned for the next day... we were not being picked up until 3... plenty of time!

But just think of me... I am getting to the point I have no clothing... the picture of em giving belle an ear full is just precious!

is it just the noise of fireworks that freaks out hannah? if so, you guys may want to try ear phones for her next time. my best friend's little boy used to hate fireworks and i let him use my ear phones i use for typing that drown out a good bit of noise for 4th of july last year and he was fine. see........

just an idea. if you can't find any without that big long cord you could just snap the cord if you don't plan on using them for anything else.

I bought all kinds of stuff last year from our September 07 trip and have yet to do page 1!! I love the pic of you all with the characters! What time did you get to Epcot that morning? Ah... to wear my clothing again! I miss pockets even more than zippers... but a belt would be nice, although it might be a while.

It was a great night at MK... we enjoyed seeing Spectromagic again... and visiting the characters again that night was fun. I hate to think of how many times we saw Pluto, I think it was 4 times! It was hard leaving that night... I was tired but sad to think how much the girls will change before we visit again.

It will be fun to have a first WDW trip again... and to have a child who likes something other than princesses! It was awfully tempting to get Luke a set of ears... but we decided we wanted him to be there to get them!

That trip is one I will never forget... slower paced, trainriding... fun all in all. I was a bit of a brat... I never came close to BTMR or Splash Mountain.. I think it would have made me cry... I love Splash Mountain!

The last picture cracks us up... she was so wired... she really thought a swim would happen if she got herself ready- no idea how late it was... somewhat foreshadowing of her current sleeping patterns... she is up way too late right now at nights!

Most of my tears come the next day... but I always lump up when we first get to MK and when we leave it for the last time... there is no place more magical!

Yes... I am sad my TR is winding down... but I will be busy enough soon with less time to DIS... at least writing wise. I also feel that my mind is going ... and my notes were not as good this trip...

Peco Bills had the cheese back! I remember reading it was gone, and was so thrilled to find that to be wrong! I so love it, especially on my fries! The girls even got into it!

well, he's not technically my luke because i'm not his mommy, but i love that little boy to pieces and i'll claim him any day! he's so sweet. he's a handful at times though and it's during those times i'm glad he's not mine!

Now, I've been wondering, when do YOU go back to school? How will that work out with Luke coming and everything? Is that going to be hectic on you?

Our district does not start until after Labor Day (students) this year. The teacher workdays are the 27th and 28th.... so I will not be attending those since Luke will be arriving the 27th. And it sounds like I have a sub... which is great to know already, since I only need 1/2 day. I need to go in a little to get some work done...but I am not going to knock myself out.
