Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

great update.. I tried the Dole whips for the first time too, I liked the float better than the icecream...

looking forward to hearing how you used all those FP's... I think we past you in TT and at PP later that night, not sure if you did ever see us?

Another dream??? How lucky were you! I can't wait to find out what it was!!!

One on one time is great -- I always enjoy it, but we didn't have a lot of that on our last trip.

Dole Whip Floats are heavenly, aren't they? I think I could live on them!

Too bad about DH not being where he was supposed to be. :headache: I hate when things like that happen!

Great update! I also get frustrated with DH when he says "meet ya here" and then I have to wait and wait or go searching.

I loved the Dole Whips too. They are just so refreshing on those day!

1 month for you, 7 weeks for me! I can't believe how this pregnancy is flying by....

Can't wait to see the scrapbook pages.

The juice made the dole whip I am sure. I might have tried the vanilla ice cream with the pineapple juice- now that sounds good!

You know you are right about Peter Pan... I think we did pass you...I am struggling to remember that day/evening much!

The next dream is totally up my girl's alley... any ice cream treat in this heat is heaven right now!

7 weeks sounds close too... I cannot believe I am less than a month... and I am starting to actually think he might make D-day come even earlier... this from someone who never had a contraction with either girl... even at nine days late with Hannah. Never say never!

I am not sure how I can scan big pages... so I think I will have to take pictures. later!

I took some pics of the pages from both WDW trips (2007 and 2008)... I did not go farther back to earlier trips... maybe later and am uploading them right now. We will see how the pictures of the pages turned out... at least maybe there are some layout ideas. I must admit when I got on DIS and look at the scrapbook pages- WOW! Glad I did not do that much while I was on my scrapbooking blitz. I teared up today looking at how much Emily changed in just the 10 months between trips.... boy she got big!

I also rewarded my hard work with a new cricut font cartridge from Michael's yesterday... fun!

I am not sure how the pictures will post... so we will see. At least you can get a general idea....I try to keep my pages not to pricey... I use coupons and seek clearance Disney items.
I also must admit that my journaling leaves a lot to be desired... a little crooked.

The above is Hannah's.. below Em's ( I rarely make the exact same page for both girls... I make them a tad different or use different pics sometimes)

Sorry to anyone who is not a scrapbooker... these are mainly duplicate pictures from the trip report. Sorry too about the blury pics on some pages... and glare.. not sure how to fix that!

Night all!

That was SO MUCH FUN! Thank you for posting those. I love looking at other peoples pages. It reminded me of of of the pictures I loved from you report! You did a great job. :thumbsup2 I see that you used your George cartridge a lot and I think I saw the Mickey cartridge too. :) Which Cricut do you have? I have the little bug and LOVE IT!:lovestruc

I really like thicker fonts... and only had two cartridges- the Mini-monograms, which I am not to thrilled with, and the Zooballoo, which I really got for the animal fun! I did buy the Cuttin' Up at Michaels... it looks like fonts that I would personally really like! I wish I had the Disney ones... it would have been fun to use for these mega pages I have done! I have the older machine, not the 12 by 12 one.... which would be so awesome. I must admit I had not used mine hardly beyond the yearly calendar I make for my parents.... I got it just as I got way behind in the scrapbooking as a Christmas gift. I am trying to check out all the advances in the cricut... I want to know about the computer stuff!

It did save me tons of time... I would type what I wanted cut... and go about doing other work while it was cutting. Plus lots of pages I headed the same way for the girls... or I would keep using the same paper and cut lots of headers out!

Beautiful scrapbook pages!!! :thumbsup2

I especially love the round corners on the photos... Did you cut them, or did they come printed that way? They remind of photos from when I was little in the early 80's, with rounded corners. Cute!

Great pages! You have convinced me to get the cricut. I really need to ask for that for Christmas this year.

I love how you journal on almost every page too. Thanks for sharing those!

I love your scrapbooking! 4 years ago I bought all this stuff from Creative Memories...like $250 worth!! :scared1: I have done about 3 pages of a cross-country trip I took in 1999. I guess it's finding the time to just sit down and do it.

I noticed that you used your Cricut! Good job. I don't own one personally, but my BFF does, so I take advantage of hers whenever possible. You girls are going to enjoy those years from now. And just think, they're all done! Now just prepare for that little baby.

Great pages! I have never seen or heard of a cricut, but this is definitely jumping on my birthday wish list!

Wow what a great job Laura! soo cool you are all caught up!
I just ordered all my photos, can't wait to get started!! see you inspire me again! :)

First of all.... you are all to kind! I am not the most creative person, but glad you all liked them. I guess they look pretty good considering the pace in which they were made!

The scrapbooks are just BEAUTIFUL!!! What a treasure for everyone to enjoy in the future. :goodvibes

I certainly hope so... I just want to stay up to date from now on!

I have a corner rounder from Creative Memories... I am not a CM scrapbooker... but that tool is too awesome. I have had cheap corner rounders, but this one is really nice!

The cricut is so helpful when you are doing two pages :thumbsup2 which you will be doing soon! Plus I am more likely to have a heading and stuff now since it is easy to make. I really enjoyed using it....

I try to journal, it was a bit hard since some of the stuff was way old. If I kept up.... my memories would have been clearer. I actually had to come back upstairs a couple of times to read the TR from last year to get things straight!

Sounds like you need to get started on Ty's book....I would highly recommend starting whatever soon before you get farther behind. Just think of all the WDW fun you can scrapbook soon!

Great scrapbook pages!!! You have inspired me to want to get mine done now!!!

I am sure you can get all your pages done before Friday's teacher day!:rotfl:
No honestly... at least your kids will allow you to work in more peace than mine!

DH's aunt had one that I borrowed.... and then his parents got me one for Christmas, which I finally got some use out of. Now they are so often priced good at Michael's and stuff.... but borrowing is the way to go!

Great pages! I have never seen or heard of a cricut, but this is definitely jumping on my birthday wish list!

They have them at the Michael's/Wal-Marts/Joanne Fabrics... or just come and check out mine!

I actually wish I had some more to do... I am in the mood, plus it is a cool inside project that does not require physical labor! I contemplated starting the calendar for my parents..... which last year I did not start until about a week before Christmas! Too bad the baby is not here... I hate to do a lot of the pages without him!

I love your pages! I am an avid scrapbooker myself and always have tons that I could put in an album. I love how your pictures actually show off the fun times and do not focus on all of the embelleshments that are out there (and are pretty expensive!!! :sad2: ). So many "expert layouts" barely have any pictures in there at all!!! I am glad there is someone else out there like me who love to scrap actual pictures!

I am sure with your new baby you will have many more pictures to put in albums!!!

wow!!!!!!! you are so talented! i wish i had the creativity and patience to scrapbook. i bought a kit last year for our disney trip and it's still laying in my guest bedroom. these are so cute and it's just really neat that the girls each have something to keep forever to remember their trips! :goodvibes what does the picture of hannah making a wish at lunch at cindy's castle say? i love that picture.
