UPDATE 2006 Cinderella Breakfast Prices

Well.....I already made my HDDR reservations a year ago for next Oct. My dd is turning 13 and really wants to have her birthday dinner at HDDR, on the actual day...so we will. We are traveling with another mom and her dd who turns 13 the day after we get home, so it's a joint celebration. However, I wanted to have a late lunch so that we could have a nice birthday cake, since we're going to the latest show at HDDR and it's just too hard to get a cake done there. My dd said she would love to have lunch in Cinderella Castle. We've eaten there many times...in fact her 6th birthday lunch was there!! But, now, I'm not so sure. She is a bit of a picky eater and I wasn't so sure anything on the lunch menu would appeal to her. Now, with the new pricing, I just can't imagine spending close to $75 for lunch for the two of us, and the other mother will most likely lynch me!!! And breakfast for $32???? Nope, I'm so glad we've done that several times and don't need to ever do it again.
Guess it's back to the ole drawing board for a restuarant with a nice cake for lunch...maybe the Cafe at the GF?? Man, what are they thinking? Pretty soon only the wealthy will be able to afford the Castle.
