I just called and booked all my ADR'S for February. I asked about Feb 22 breakfast at Cindy's and they had it available. I immediately said I wanted it..until they told me I had to prepay, including taxes and gratituty. For 2 adults and 1 child (7) the total for breakfast was $102.00!! They changed the prices for breakfast to Adults 31.99 and Childs 21.99. I just could not stomach paying 102.00 for breakfast and cancelled since we are dining with the princess in Norway for breakfast. Just a heads up to everyone! Oh and Cindy's in NOT accepting the Disney Dining Card as of Feb 1, 2006!

I guess they only want royalty to be able to eat in the castle and not us peasants. :confused3

holy smokes! guess that rules out crt for me...i wonder if it still is going to be on the dining plan or if they will raise it to 2 ts...( not to start any rumors, just wondering if anyone heard)

They have mentioned that TS will be 2 credits for CRT now. And also in another thread the price increase includes a picture package with Cinderealla.

Beginning February 1, 2006, dining at Cinderella's Royal Table will undergo several changes:

-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9. Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.

-- Dinner will become a fixed-price, set meal, also, hosted by the Fairy Godmother, who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

Dinner: $39.99 ages 10 and up; $24.99 ages 3-9.

NOTE: Once these changes go into effect (February 1, 2006), payment in full with a credit card will be required at the time of booking for all meals at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made. All reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies.

Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan WILL be accepted at Cinderella's Royal Table meals, requiring TWO table service credits.

:confused3

I don't know how to read this. Does this price INCLUDE the pictures or do you pay extra for them?

Either way...Phew! Glad I already did it in June!

I just got off the phone with my TA. She said after feb. 1 CRT is going to be 2 table service credits. She also said that they are changing dinner to add the princesses. Also she said that you can make resies 180 days in advance! I put in my request for dinner since it will be the most bang for the buck. HOpefully we get it. :flower1: :flower1: :flower1:

My take on it is that the meal price does not include the photos- I'm sure it's the same as Chef Mickey's where they take your photo then bring it to you while you're eating and you can buy it or not at that time.

Glad I have boys who have no interest in dining with princesses- those prices are nuts!

ETA- now re-reading it, maybe I'm wrong - it says additional photos may be purchased, so maybe the basic package is included :confused3 . It's really not clear.

I just called 407-WDW-DINE and the CM told me dinner is NOT going to be changed to a character meal.

Anyone else want to check and see if you get the same answer?

I just called to make my ADRs without seeing the price increase. This is gone wayyyy to far!! We will not be dining there anymore they can KMA if they think I am that nuts. We have done it 3x's and I personally never thought it was worth it but for my yound DDs I did it. For this price I think I would be teaching them that Mom is a fool easily parted with her money.......

Did anyone make an ADR???

No, it's not clear to me at all. Glad I'm not the only one. :)

I did. I enjoy breakfast there.

And since the 180 day policy just began today, I was able to get a seating with no problem.

I have no doubt that CRT will still be full every morning. This was a case of demand far exceeding supply, indicating that the price was far too low for a commodity valued by so many.

I'd prefer the photos to be optional, since they have little interest to me, but I guess that's not how it works. (I have read elsewhere that the basic photo package *is* included in the price, but the "$29.95 retail value" is just random fiction. From looking at some of the numbers, based on the gratuity, it looks like $9 of the price is for the photo package.)

I just hung up with disney dining. For 4 adults and 1 birthday child :), she wanted me to pay $150 now (I had to figure out how much it was, she couldn't access that information until I gave her my credit card#- right) :rolleyes1 , that's before tax or anything!!! That's for breakfast. Are they kidding? I felt, for a moment, that I should do it because it was available (Feb. 28), and it had been hard to come by. But, reality check!! My family has never eaten there, so I guess we'll be OK with not knowing what we're missing.

The new prices include the photo package.

Photos or not, I don't plan on spending $130 for breakfast (or $140 for lunch) at CRT. The atmosphere is nice, and we've eaten at CRT on just about every trip for the past 5 years, but this is too much.

Disney knows the place will sell out, so they jack up the price and give us "$29.95" worth of photos that cost them a couple of dollars at most to process and package. Their bottom line goes way up while the price fails to pass the giggle test for many people. Like I said, they'll probably still sell out, but I bet it won't be so hard to get a reservation anymore.

Boy am I glad that I got an ADR for CRT in Dec. It will be our first and last meal in the castle. And if you are paying out of pocket, how can they expect you to pay for gratuity up front? All that means is the servers don't have to work as hard, as they already have their tip!

We have ressies for January 4th at the old price. We have the meal plan, but this one is an extra, and we are planning to pay of our pockets, could we apply the AAA discount on this restaurant???????? :confused3

Thanks!

My AAA TA told me that I would get discount on lost of things, are you sure about no discount on restaurant?? Does it includ DTD?? :confused3

sucker here. I made a ADR for my mom and I in Feb. For so many years, I have wanted to take her here, she has never eaten in the castle, and never got the chance when we were little. It will be my last time until I have kids though. I sure the price will jump even more then!
