Ok - just finished next weeks schedule, and I only have to close two nights :yay: :cloud9: . I do pick up an open, and three lunch shifts, but that gives me 5 nights to be at home :cool1:
That's awesome, dizzy! Bet the family will appreciate having you home more often in the evenings. :goodvibes

They never did much for me. Of course by the time they were around I was old enough they would have been considered jail bait! I remember a couple of years ago my neighbor got DD a clock with the New Kids on the Block for her bedroom. She was totally freaked by it! OMG MOM, I'm not putting that on my wall. All my friends will think I'm a dork! They're like really old guys now!:rotfl:
:lmao: :lmao: I was in the 5th grade... So I was to young to like them, but I did!

For shame. :sad2:

Still, I'm glad you feel well. Healing up is hard on the body. As long as you're not coming home feeling like a train wreck. You need your rest, girlie! :thumbsup2

I feel just fine, even helped cook dinner tonight. If I had been too tired I would have just called DH to pick me up and went home right away.

Remember I didn't really lose anything on my body, just sort of rearranged things so it can't be that much of a stress on my body. I guess I'm considered a Picasso now!:rotfl: Seriously though I feel really good tonight. I think sitting around was taking it's toll on me. I'm the sort of person that needs to be up and moving and doing things or :surfweb: . Remember I'm the person that went through chemo, listened to everyone and tried to nap several times during the day....as a result those first couple of weeks all I did was stay up all night roaming the house because I had slept all day. Besides, I have plenty of time for rest after I'm old and dead!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

DS3 was singing a little ditty at the breakfast table this morning, and he was actually using vibrato! :lmao:

I didn't know little kids could do that! I have no idea where he learned it. It was pretty cute. :rotfl:

I realize you've been through a lot more trauma to the body than I have in my time. I just remember having surgery on my arm (the sweet little 5" zigzag I was telling you about), and since it was outpatient surgery, I was absolutely not prepared for how exhausted I was in the days afterward. I slept so much! And that was just an arm, not my belly AND my chest!

I'd just hate for you to delay your recovery by overdoing it now. Or for goodness sake, you being unable to DIS in the evening!!! Where is the dang priority chart, people?! :teacher: :rotfl2:

Alex, Alex, Alex....you seem to be forgetting the priority chart!:rotfl: We look forward to having Dizzy on here for 5 nights next week while her children are left to fend for themselves!:rotfl:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Oh that's just the right age. I can remember having a crush on the Bay City Rollers and John Denver at that age! Tartan Rules!!:rotfl:

UGH. DH used to say that. I have always hated that expression. He's stopped now with all the heart issues. Hits a little too close to home! :sad2:

So do we have a Rock Star in the making??:woohoo: 20 years from now I'll be telling my grandkids. Oh yes his grandmother is one of my Hyena friends, I'm sure I can get you backstage passes!

Blech... I made cous-cous to go with dinner tonight, because dh really likes it. I had forgotten how much I DONT like it! Its like eating mushy sand. YUK!

I thought of that after I posted the same about YOU! :lmao:

I had a thing for the Bay City Rollers, too! :lmao:
I liked John Denver's music, but I thought he was terribly geeky looking. But my mom had all his albums, so I grew up on that music. I can't believe I still remember the words to many of the songs. :rotfl:

:cool1: :cool1: We would be the coolest grannys on the block. WAIT... I will only be 47. Kinda young to be a granny?

His grandmother???

I typed that, then almost deleted it, then decided oh what the heck. OK, I'll take that back then. When I'm OLD & DEAD I won't rest. I'll hang around and haunt people and drive everyone nuts! There, is that better??:rotfl:

I'm not a couscous fan either. We had bbq hamburgers, mixed greens & veggies salad and shell pasta with cheese sauce. Oh and DH is now getting me two scoops of ice cream for dessert!

Ewwww, not really! :scared1:

Let's hope so! Well, heck, that is just a couple years away for me. :rolleyes1

I dont know... Alex will be the same age I am now. Maybe, Maybe not. but hopefully wont have grandkids that are old enough to care about music!:lmao:

You can come around here... We love ghosts around our house!:cool1: :cool1:

His grandmother???

Oops!!!!!!!! Sorry about that! I was just thinking in another 20 years he'll be 23, my DD will be 36, my DS 29, so it would probably be my grandkids listening to him! SORRY!! I hang my head down in shame or at least on Grandma's Feather Bed, you know it would hold 8 kids & 4 hound dogs and a piggy we stole from the shed. We never got much sleep but we had a lot of fun on grandma's feather bed!

I don't remember boy biology, but I'm pretty sure it will still be physically impossible for me to be a grandparent by the age of 47, so no worries. :lmao:

DS7 is into music now. He listened to a lot of Enya as a baby, and now all he wants to listen to is rap. Though he does like La Bouche. :rotfl:
