I've sent out a bunch of cards and bought a few other goodies..can't keep track of it all..

We got Mickey Mouse Tattoos. My kids went bonkers when I opened it up!

I fell over laughing when Alison said she put a smilie sticker in an umm strategic place for her checkup
When I sent them, I didn't quite have that in mind

I know! What a nut that lady is!

I thought it was a hoot!

My mom would have totally done that.

She was so tickled to tell me one day, "I got a tattoo today." Of course I was until she explained that once you've had breast cancer, they put a tattoo on your skin (a little dot) to pinpoint the location for the purposes of delivering radiation to that exact spot. Whew!

Still watching the pregnant man on Oprah. Actually, you're not missing much, it's pretty pedestrian. He used to be a 'she', and when he went through gender reassignment, he opted to keep his reproductive organs in anticipation of wanting children someday.

As it turns out, the woman he's with (who he was with before gender reassignment, which I thought was interesting) is an older woman with 2 grown children from a previous marriage.

They did artificial insemination with donor sperm. The pregnancy is progressing normally, and he's now 6 months along.

I was reading that on the news.. it sounds interesting. I dont know..

A few years ago they weren't picky about using the coupon on clearance and other sales (sooooooooo many restrictions now) anyway, I bought like 12 bras for $20 one year. Those suckers lasted for YEARS because they got rotated so often
Now I have a few from them that I bought at the store that was closing at the mall.. so pretty too!

Hubby always pauses and give a sigh when he sees me changing clothes

I went with my dad when he got his tattoo... and I was HOOKED. I have always been a tad leery of needles, and my dad thought I would be totally grossed out by seeing him getting it done. But I wasnt, I was so all up in it, the tattoo guy had to push me out of his way! I would have gotten one right then, but I was only 16, and my dad was at the thought at that! He was also when I got my first one when I was 18! And even more when I got my second one a few months later!

I know its not very ladylike, but I would love to get a sleeve!

I know!! I was surprised that you can only put one code in! but if I had been able to use the second one, it would have only saved me around $3. or so.

I am in such dire need of new whatnots... Dh was about t take me shopping for some today, but I was to tired... SO I just bought them online. I did better doing it that way for sure, otherwise I would have bought some ill fitting ones from Target again.

I just ordered a bunch of new bras and undies from Layne Bryant. I had a good code, $25.00 off of $75.00!!! Plus the bras are on sale.. I spent $73.00 and saved $60. So thats almost 50%. Not to shabby.... PLUS I get credit on Sunshine!

No no no, I didn't mean it that way. You just have to know my mom. She was a "good girl" growing up, she is a good wife and mother. She never in a million years would have gotten a tattoo, and would have FREAKED if any of us had got one. And so at age 60 or whatever it was, she got one and bragged all about it. It's so funny because it's soooo against type!

ETA: I added quotes around "good girl" because I don't mean she was a good person (though of course she was), but she was a "goody-two-shoes" girl, don't rock the boat, do what's expected of you, that sort of person. And so was I; pretty obvious where I got that from, huh?

ok here's my latest pet peeve.. my local mall has a JCPenney's with a plus sized dept.. right next to that section is the intimates. I look thru the intimates thinking I will find something cute, big clerance sale.. they have NOTHING cute in my size.

Just the ugly nylon granny panties with the elastic that is tight enough to cut off circulation KWIM?? Butt ugly undies that our grandmothers wouldn't even wear.

next to check on nighties.. cute PJs, cute lil gowns.. anything beyond a size 14??The evil "housedress" or the craftan.. C'MON PEOPLE!! Get with the times???!!

I get it..my mom was a bit put off when I told her I got one, my dad layed into the your body is a temple blah blah thing.. My mom.. she said "do whatever makes you happy" I sometimes wonder if she wouldn't love to be more adventurous .

I remember my grandma saying that is you're going to get your nose pierced you might as well get a ring thru it. So you can be led around like a bull She was a god fearing lady.. with a little hint of pride in shocking people .. she told my mom a dity joke

I know exactly what you mean! I find that Layne Bryant, or shopping online is the only way to get nice unders... and some not so nice unders. If you know what I mean... I have found some stuff online. Not to mention some great hooker heels!

Do you have the clear lucite ones? I've seen lots of those, I think on the fredericks website. 5" tall!!!
