We did a half day, but by the time we went... We were already pretty tired. Ill bet that it could easily be a full day, but no more then that. The rides were not very cool, but everything made out of legos more then made up for that! We really liked it, and Ill bet that your dh and boys would love it.

Yeah, I was wondering if they'd go to Legoland on the Saturday that we do the hyena breakfast. No idea where it is/how long it takes to get there, and how long they'd stay, but I know at least 2 of them would love it!

Alex its about an hour and a half away. maybe not that far with traffic but we hit heavy traffic because we did legoland in the morning and disney at night one day.

Totally!! My fellas had a great time there. The only thing I didnt like was how freaking hot it was... Not that they could help it, but the park has TONS of concrete, and not a lot of shade. Its like being in toontown ALL day.

Do it! Ill bet they would all love it! It took us about an hour... hour and a half to get there. But the drive is GORGEOUS. Seriously.. Knock your socks off pretty. it goes along the ocean... Which as you know is NOT like our ocean!

ohhhhh I forgot to tell ya...

We went on Sunday nigth to DL and watched Fantasmic!
When it was on refurb a few months ago-- they added some extras.. it was soooooooooooooooo cool!

They now have projectors like they do on the castle. At the first scene with Mickey the building has stars on it..in one scene with the fire going, it has this red flame effect on the building.

They added a strobe light to heighten the lightening flash, I found it annoying.

And Mickey's sword malfunctioned. it did the green flash thing once, had the firework fizzle out the end and went dark, the dragon was still "alive" at that point-- OOPS!

It's in Carlsbad right? Very pretty area, right next door to Oceanside which we found very cute (but my nephew says is very dull young Marine what can I say). It was nice to go ohhhhhhhhhh and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh as we drove by all the Marines looking all yummy on liberty for the weekend
