Then here is the GORGEOUS Poinsettia tree in the lobby.

Is it a real tree now?

sorry the pics are so bad they are almost 15 years old!

I believe I would have remembered if that tree was in poinsettias. No wonder you just use to look at it. It was not made of poinsettias when we were there. I think the Gingerbread House is the main attraction now.

ok, weiord pic.. but in the MGM Grand you can walk thru and be UNDER hte lions.. creepy but cool!

Geesh! I cant get over how big those trees are! I dont have any cool pics of stuff... all mine are of my kids!

Oh man it was so pretty. If I had nothing to do I would go over to the lobby, sit and listen to the pianos and look at the tree. I had never seen anything like it before. and we would notice if one would start wilting the next morning even if it was on the very tippy top it was replaced just like in the parks. it was amazing. There were only 2 Ginger bread houses when I was there over by 1900 Park Faire. They were not in the main lobby at the time.

Ceiling of the Venetian

DS3 saw this one and asked, "Mama, can we go dere? I want to climb on dat." I tried explaining that it was a painting on a ceiling, but I don't think he got it. I assume he wants to climb the railing just like the little cherub.

We are posting so fast right now, that I can't keep up. And I have to fix something to eat.

What I was going to tell you guys that 3 planes have just flown over our house really really low. The first time, I ran outside to see what the heck. Thought it was going to crash.

Then a second one came, and ??????????? And then a third.

They look like crop dusters I guess, but usually they don't fly that low unless they are really crop dusting.

It was! It was at Legoland.. We had so much fun there! We should totally go back.

We had the opportunity to get a free child ticket for Legoland (free with purchase at a Lego outlet) but it would do us no good.. I think our boys are just too old for it now.

We did a half day, but by the time we went... We were already pretty tired. Ill bet that it could easily be a full day, but no more then that. The rides were not very cool, but everything made out of legos more then made up for that! We really liked it, and Ill bet that your dh and boys would love it.
