Enchanted is wonderful isnt it.
Even after the 4th time I keep finding hidden things. Like tonight, when she is looking in the fish tank, the music from "The Little Mermaid" is playing. I love the dancing scene........like "Beauty and the Beast."
Oh... I could go on!

DS7 was just finishing up his homework. I've been writing story problems for him to work on, and they're pretty elaborate. He needs a bit of help because we're doing multi-step problems, but I'm amazed at how well he's doing. :goodvibes

Tonight's problem:

"A" has 11 quarters, 9 dimes and 20 nickels. He wants to buy 5 YuGiOh cards and a bag of M&Ms. His brother wants 2 YuGiOh cards and a bag of Jellybeans.

1. How much money does "A" have?
2. Does he have enough to buy what he wants? (HINT: How much money does this cost?)
3. If he buys what he wants, what does he have left?
4. Does he have enough left to buy what his brother wants? (HINT: How much money does this cost?)
5. If he buys what his brother wants, what does he have left, OR how much is he short?

DS stumbled a bit on #3, but got all the rest right (correcting 4 and 5 once 3 was correct, of course.) :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I need to watch it again. I was reading the credits at the end, mainly because these days movies usually have some sort of little surprise then.

It didn't have a little surprise, but it did indicate that it used music from several other Disney movies!

I noticed after they left the restaurant that it was named something like Bella Notte, which I think is the name of the restaurant in the movie with the two dogs eating spaghetti...?

Megan, I was reading about PCOP. ( Are those the initials?)

Very interesting, and it's good that they are looking into this. Hopefully this will answer alot of questions for you.

I've never said too much, but my first son is unable to have children. He doesn't produce sperm. He and his wife are still dealing with it, and it makes me teary eyed to talk about it. To have children is such a blessing. I hope some day, that they will be able to adopt. I will love them as my flesh and blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know when Jodi Benson was on it was perfect to be playing the Little Mermaid. Judy Kuhn (Pocohontas) Paige Ohara (Belle) I think I'm missing some other princess too that was in the movie.

Lady and the Tramp:thumbsup2 it was the name of the song. The restaurant was called Tony's.

It's interesting this has come up. I was just reading up on low sperm count the other day. I don't even know why, we're done having kids and are both fixed, but the subject is still interesting having gone through all the infertility stuff.

Anyway, there have been so many recent advances in this area of research that they have revised the definition of "low sperm count". I think it used to be something like 40 million per 'teaspoon', and now it's like 10 million. They are much better at doing procedures involving insemination that the threshold at which they tell a couple "there's just no hope" is a lot lower than it used to be, which gives hope to so many people. They still may need assistance in having a biological child, but it's a possibility still, whereas a year or two ago they'd have been told to give up.

And Staley, at the tail end of the last hyena thread you mentioned Clomid and your mother's fear of you using fertility drugs. DS7 is a "Clomid Challenge" baby, meaning he was conceived while I was taking the drug for the purpose of a test. I'd been on the drug twice before with no result, so really hadn't expected to get pregnant from it. To make matters worse, DH was out of town during my fertile part of the cycle, so zero chance of getting pregnant, right? Somehow, some way, it happened.

And you know that he's the normal one! :rotfl:

And did you notice the hotel name of where Princ Edward stayed. The Grand Duke I think. Guess I need to watch it again! :rolleyes1

Are you saying these actors were in the Enchanted movie???

I'm cracking myself up that I couldn't remember the name of the movie. :rotfl:

But actually, I don't think I've ever seen it...

Where was Paige and the others?

Yes they were the receptionist in his lobby, the pregnant lady with kids when Edward was searching the building and the actress in the soap opera on TV that they were watching in that order. A tribute to princesses!

I think I read somewhere that one of the character names was the first middle and last names of the actresses playing Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora.

This whole movie seemed to pay respect to earlier Disney movies!

We are Siamese if you please.....ta da da da
We are Siamese if you don't please.........ta da da da

Wow you are the Trivia Princess!! And the only one I would recognize would be Paige, because of Trading Spaces. How did you know the faces of the others?
