Oh GOD I hate those phone calls. Dh just rehired someone who calls us ALL the time whether she is working or not. She thinks she is dh's best friend. In fact when they left he gave her a picture frame that said "friends" on it and a picture they took for a store promotion. I told dh isnt this weird? The picture frame is in the garage sale. Not that I have a problem with the friendship but I'm like the constant calling eats into MY TIME with him. And they call for the dumbest things!


We are out of lettuce what should i do?

Go to the store!!! That kind of thing at 11pm.

Dizzy, I feel for you those 3 days we are guarnteed no phone calls too!

DH used to get work calls all the time, and it drove me nuts. They finally gave him a Blackberry, so instead of having to grab the nearest phone and have a conversation, he can just immediately shoot back an email reply.

It's still disruptive, but seems less rude to me, less of an interruption of a meal or an event. I guess because it takes him less time to respond, and if we're in public, he doesn't have to get up and leave for privacy reasons.
