Good morning, hyenas!
Gorgeously sunny in Seattle!!!
And a big WOOHOO for Moto!!!
I think your BF is clueing in...
Took Ds3 to preschool, then DS7 and I went to Starbucks, and then on to a local park. He swung on the swings while we chatted and I checked out some construction across the street. It's kind of an expensive area, but it didn't look like a new McMansion, I'm pretty sure it will be a business of some sort. (Cement walls with little teeny windows.) I'm saying a business because no way on earth this neighborhood would allow a jail.
Then we went to the waterfront and checked out the wildlife. We saw a pair of turtles. He was swimming along and trying to crawl out onto a dry log, but couldn't seem to get up onto it from the water. He had a seashell stuck to his front foot (paw? claw?), and I'm not sure if that's why. DS thought the shell wasn't stuck, rather that he was carrying it on purpose.
I assume the other turtle following him was his mate. She was very drab colored, and also had a bunch of floaty stuff on the back of her shell, very weird. (Like the stuff that grows on logs that are always underwater?)
DH is over 4" taller than me, so no worries. I also used to wear 3" or 3.5" heels before "casual dress" at work became the norm. I didn't mind wearing suits and heels, but I seriously hated hot, sticky pantihose in the summer.
Now I've read that pantihose is a thing of the past??? Is that true??? My legs are not good enough to go without so I can't even imagine...
I had DS3 write a letter to great-grandma (DH's step-grandma, and actually he "dictated" to me since of course he can't write yet), and now I just had DS7 write a letter to her, too. He chose some funny little cards for this the other day, that have a photo of two bulldogs sitting in an old-fashioned ride-on type car. Really cute!
So I need to pop in a quick note and we'll get it in the mail on our way to pick up DS3 in a bit.
Hope you all are enjoying the day!

I was so mad, and I didn't want to go all the way back to the other store. Oh, well, ya snooze ya lose.
Im sorry Shawna.
so she wasnt quite in the right state of mind.
We've slid by this year escaping most of the illnesses and I'm hoping Jake doesnt catch this one. It seems pretty nasty. I'm gonna pull out the bleach wipes when he leaves!
