PS. Shawna, I think your thinking about APs is right on the money. And if you got them now, it won't just be the AP money you're out of pocket, if you go to DL now with your relatives, as you've said you'll be tempted to buy them meals or the kids' tickets or whatever, so it will actually be much more money out of pocket than just your APs. Tread cautiously!

If you're going in June for dance, I'd get the PH tickets for then, and then APs in Feb. 2009 will be good through early '10.

Wow, isn't that weird? '10!!! :rotfl:

Very weird. :lmao: Yeah it just doesnt make sense right now. As much as dh would like us to get them it would cost me much more instead of saving money like it used to. :) I can get the magic music days 2 day park hopper tickets for like $90 or something around that. So cheap.

No not at all. The first day was tough but after I got over telling myself I could not eat what I wanted I was fine.

Weight Watchers is point based which is a combo of calories, fat grams and fiber grams. So normally say a person gets 26 pts which is quite a bit of food per day and then you get an extra 35 bonus points per week to use if you "splurge one or two days" but with the quick start or fast track whatever they call it you only eat 20pts per day and you still have the 35 pts per week allowance if you go over. So you use just 6 pts less than normal which is like a slice of pizza for instance.

The quick track plan for 20 pts you can only use the FIRST week or when you've been on it awhile and have hit a plateau but you can only do it one week. Then you have to go up to your regular point count for the following weeks.

To be honest I ate quite a bit of salty foods right before and I had that big birthday party weekend with a lot of cake so I had just eaten a ton of food and I guess it came off quickly!!! I tend to bloat with water when I eat salt and unfortunately I'm a salt a holic! So in reality it might not have been THAT much.

From now on it should be around 2lbs per week but they said that a lot of people lose at least 10 lbs the first week.

So when I saw you guys in June I was just 5 lbs less than I am today. I had gained 20lbs over the last 6 months so things are great. I was about 20 lbs over where I am ideally when I met you all so I have about 25 more to go! I should have it off by October!

So I found you again....are you liking WW, I did it in the past, but feel like I know the program...I am needing to lose at least 40...I know I can do it, but have a hard time not eating!!! UGH...plus I do not drink enough water.

:lmao: Hi Lisa!!! I know the program too but I needed to pay someone to lose weight. Not sure I'm going to have a good week this week though. I guess that comes after losing so much the first week.

i might try it again.....you did great, maybe I will try it like i know nothing!! with that being said time for lunch!

see i knew this was going to be an issue for you shawna...I thought it best not to get my AP renewed next year and now I know for certain thats the way to go...all these temptations to go get to you and your going to be spending so much money in going to DL between 2 or 3 trips that could be spent in wdw and thats how Im looking at it for me...I want to use that money for wdw and dcl and I know if I get AP's Im gonna regret it....:sad2:

Hi Sarah, Hi Alex!

Sarah I saw on the other thread that you went to the Aquarium of the pacific. We bought the full priced tickets and were very disappointed.
We had at the time a 180 gallon saltwater tank in our house that we loved. I thought the kids would love the aquarium because of their interest in our own sea life in our house but they didnt. We were all bored and only spent 1 1/2 hours in there and that was probably stretching it. There was this cool aquarium in Chicago right on Lake Michigan that was MUCH BETTER!

Of courst its in Chicago.;)

Alex, sorry about the coffee. I dont drink coffee. In fact when I was pregnant because I cant stand the smell dh would have to grind and brew his outside. It would make me ill. By the way it will be sunny and 83 here today. :beach: :lmao:

The only thing I liked about the Aquarium of the Pacific was the Chili Bread Bowl I had for lunch! :rotfl:

Me: Honey, do you need to go potty?
DS3: No. (Eyes are glued to the TV.)
Me: Honey, it's time. I need you to try to go potty.
DS3: But I don't want to. I want to watch dis.
Me: Well, let's try. You can watch it when you come back.
DS3: OK. (Eyes are glued to the TV, and he's not moving.)

Me: OK, go now!
DS3: OK. (Gets up and walks to the doorway, eyes still glued to the TV.)
Me: Honey, you need to go now, or I'm going to turn off the TV.
DS3: Noooooo! (Eyes still glued to the TV.)
Me, turning off the TV: OK, go now, hurry! Then I'll turn it back on when you come back!

DS3 runs to the bathroom, then comes back: But Mama, I can't!
Me: Why not?
DS3: Because (unintelligible gibberish) my car and my watch! (He's saying he can't open the lid to the toilet because he's holding these two things.)
Me: So give them to me. I'll hold them so you can go.
DS3: Oh. (Reluctantly hands them over.)
Me: Go now, hurry!
DS3: {sigh} OK.

Eventually, a flush and hand washing occur! :thumbsup2

well...since you asked:rotfl: we decided to hold off on taking the baby after all since he is so wild and doesnt listen and he is in his daredevil moments here ...we dont want him pitching a fit and busting open his skull on the cement...I cried a little because I really wanted to take him but I understand the frustrations that will ensue and I dont want it to ruin my trip plus he will miss out on alot because he falls to sleep so early you know?

I have no idea what the heck we are watching! It's a PBS preschool cartoon, and it must be new. Each animal/bug character is drawn out of the letters making up its name; so the little pig is made of "p i g" and even the bugs are "b u g" and "a n t". There's even a "t r a i n", some animals live in a "l o g", and they play on "s w i n g"s. Word World, it's called.

I think it's really weird, but DS3 seems to be loving it, so whatever. :rotfl:

Do I know?
Are you asking me if I know what you mean? Me? :rotfl2: :lmao:

Oh, sorry, got a little carried away for a second there.

Yes. I do know what you mean.

I have to keep telling myself that we took what was supposed to be a year off from DL to go to WDW but unfortunately it is going to be more like 2 years off of AP's because he could not get away this fall so we have to go next. However we have gotten to go on short trips but I know it would be much more frequent if we had the AP's and more money down the tubes. So I'm thinking one day pass next week. 1 day pass in April and the magic music your ways ticket. Even if they add up to the price of the AP I still dont have to pay blackout tickets and then I wont be tempted to go in the summer! More money for WDW.

I still cant believe I have to make my major dining ressies in a few weeks!!! I dont know what I'm going to have for dinner tonight let alone 6 months from now. :lmao:

They have toys tied into that show at Target-- really really CUTE and a novel idea to teach reading skills. I bet it would be useful to children with special needs.. thankfully my DN w autism fell in love with letters so getting that concept of "letters form words and represent this object" was not a problem for him.

:lmao: :lmao: we ended up eating at a nearby Taco Bell and going on a whale watching cruise that left from the front of the building. We would have been happier just going on the cruise instead of the aquarium and looking into the water. :rotfl:

:rotfl: yeah you know what I mean:rolleyes: so it looks as if im going solo :goodvibes
I know you wanted to take your precious boy with you, but you know what? You're going to have way more fun this way. You'll be able to spend more time on things you enjoy than being at the whims of a temperamental 1yo. Not that it isn't fun with a young one, it's just very different.

I can't wait until DS3 is old enough to go on everything. Though I suppose then he won't want to do the character thing, which I love right now. :goodvibes
