My bf and I donated a ton of clothes today. We dropped them off at the thrift store along with an old printer/scanner. It felt good getting rid of all of those boxes because now we have more room for storage.

We headed over to Universal Citywalk. I noticed that some of the stores there sell Disney stuff. Isn't that odd? We ate at Bubba Gump's for the first time. There food is really good! I had the jumbo stuffed shrimp (stuffed with crab) and it came with the most delicious garlic bread I've ever tasted. My bf had shrimp heaven which has different paper shaped cones filled with various shrimp. It came with 3 dipping sauces- one was an orange sauce that tasted really really good. We had an appetizer of their spinach and artichoke dip which was also tasty.

On each table there are 2 license plate signs. One says:

-This means that you don't need your sever to attend to you at the moment. If you do need a refill or anything else, you just flip the sign to show this:

When your server sees the sign they stop and assist you. The service was great and our server was very friendly.

The restaraunt has some funny signs. One of them said: "Which way did you come in? Let me show you out!" and another said: "Men are NEVER right!" There were some other cooky ones but I can't remember them. The booths have signs from the Forest Gump movie. They also have quotes on the tables such as this:

After lunch we watched The Spiderwick Chronicles in IMAX. It was really cool and I liked the movie a lot. I'm not sure how little kids would handle it. None of them were scared or crying in the theatre but they did issue a warning in the beginning stating that some scenes may be scary for small children.

Yeah right, she loved every minute of it. Fine then, if you're so glad to be home, then enjoy your bath tonight......oh wait, that's right, you weren't able to fit my big roman tub into your luggage!!!!

No, seriously, it was a great week and we actually fit in quite a bit (plus a trip to Disneyland) so it was a packed 10 days but so fun!!

On that note, I'll leave Lynn with.....I hope you know, I hope you know...

Alex2k, Sounds like the album is going to be really neat!! Are you just putting them in or doing a scrapbooking type thing? I only use Creative Memories so I don't know much about the one you mentioned above!

We just finished dinner and cleaning up the kitchen. We had beef stroganoff, asparagus and a green salad. GOSH, that asparagus was tasty! I love that stuff!

GEESH, I think I'm talking too much!

I had started on Day 1, our travel day. Then I realized it was such an interesting start to the trip (why and how we wound up going in the first place) that I wanted to write that up, too. So today I worked on an introduction sort of page, introducing the 4 family members and wrote about the decision to take the trip.

Now I'm second-guessing myself; are people really going to want to read that?!

And it sounds like a fabulous dinner. I have an extra kid tonight so we did tuna casserole and french fries, with the strawberry -cake Lynn and Samantha made for Valentines Day for dessert!! Yum!

I also need to finish up Day 1. So far we've arrived, taken the monorail into the park, and had a bite at Redd Rockett's. I need to review my notes to see what order everything happened in after that. I remember doing Buzz 2 times in a row (wheeeeeee!), I think we did your namesake as well, and we took the monorail back to DTD at the end of the night.

it wasnt a strawberry cake per se...it is a white cake with fresh strawberries and that strawberry gel topping that you use get in the grocery store and then i top it all with cool whip

I know!! As soon as I pulled out the stuff, I was like "Lynn really wanted this and we forgot to make it" Then I ate some in your honor!! How about a nice steamy tuna casserole dinner before the fair this year, I'll cook just for you!!!

I know, but if I didn't finish my taxes soon, I wouldn't be able to make my deposits. And on that note, I'll put some extra on the room to get you a few bellinis on the ship!!!
