I know!! As soon as I pulled out the stuff, I was like "Lynn really wanted this and we forgot to make it" Then I ate some in your honor!! How about a nice steamy tuna casserole dinner before the fair this year, I'll cook just for you!!!

I know, but if I didn't finish my taxes soon, I wouldn't be able to make my deposits. And on that note, I'll put some extra on the room to get you a few bellinis on the ship!!!

Ummmm... Andrea, you haven't resorted to kidnapping for extra income, have you?

I assume Lauren has a friend over? For the night? how fun! Awww, man, a strawberry cake? I am dying! I LOVE strawberry cake!

No, no kidnapping, although I would if I could make money doing it. Some people call that babysitting though!

They made a great cake with real strawberries and all kinds of good stuff and sprinkles!! It was like a glorified strawberry shortcake somewhat!!!

it wasnt a strawberry cake per se...it is a white cake with fresh strawberries and that strawberry gel topping that you use get in the grocery store and then i top it all with cool whip

Lynn bought the girls some clothes last night. Well they wore them all day today and now they are begging me to wear them tomorrow too!!

And Nathan is licking me at the computer desk thinking it's Lynn!

Oh, wow. I've had pies made like that. It's basically a pie crust on the bottom absolutely heaped with whole strawberries so tall that there's no way one more strawberry could fit on top! Then they pour the gel on it, I guess to hold the darn thing all together!

I'm not fond of the gel stuff, but I somehow manage to "suffer" through a large piece. I absolutely love strawberries!

Yeah, Marie Callenders makes a fabulous one like that!! YUM!

alex you know how kids just say random stuff all the time??? well as siblings always do.....we were driving back from DL and Lauren and mantha were arguing and this one song came on that part of the song says...that this has nothing to do with you...well mantha added Lauren on the end of that just random out of the blue....we werent expecting it and I had just taken a drink of soda when she did it...and the funniest thing is she said it really low...she had no idea we heard it so now i cant listen to that song ever again without thinking about that

that woman sets her clock 10 minutes behind the right time and then puts it on snooze for half an hour ever single day alex....and then is loud as all heck and just as she leaves my real alarm goes off...nathan yelling MOMMY....MOMMY....

(He likes to pretend to be a cat. He meows, then licks me on the cheek. It's kind of cute and ewwwww all at the same time.)

His alarm would be LOUD music, he'd let it play a bit, then hit snooze. Just when I'd start to relax and fall asleep again the damn thing would go off and scare the POOP right outta me all over again! He'd hit snooze 3 or 4 times, and just when I was about to get up and shriek obscenities at him, he'd turn it off and get in the shower. AaAaaggghggghhhHh!

Fortunately he is a very wise man, and happily married to a very grateful wife.

That's so funny because that was DH too. And actually, I NEVER do that but Lynn wore me out so much this week that I just couldn't get up for some reason!!

DS3 has not napped today, so he is a wild man tonight. I thought we were going to have to KILL him before dinner! He was just driving everyone nuts, and he and DS7 kept beating on each other! I finally YELLED (not easy just at the moment, I'm still pretty hoarse) and made DS7 go to his room for awhile, then left DH to fend off DS3 while I finished making dinner. Once DS7 came back downstairs they started up again, so I YELLED at them again to get them to SIT DOWN and SHUT UP at the dinner table.

I'm not really a yeller, so it was... quite an evening.

GEESH, they have a knack for knowing just where to hit that last nerve, ya know???
