Ok everyone, my floors in my house are finally done!!!
I'm sitting here with hot chocolate because its 80 degrees out and I'm freezing! A girl's gotta be realistic!
On with the TR.
So we exit Pirates and I ask Jake what he wants to do next. The train. Of course, why couldn't he pick something like BTMRR (my favorite!) or ANYTHING that had a line later in the day. I try to convince him but he reminded me that it was HIS morning. Ok, ok they train it is. We choose to leave the stroller in New Orleans square as this will be a round trip voyage. I lke the train when its busy in the park you get to rest. I kept thinking of all the short lines though.

He gets a little nervous during the Grand Canyon and the Dinosaur part. I love the music when you are passing the grand Canyon. Its catchy. We make it through off at New Orleans square and I ask what he wants to do again.
I say "Jake what next, HM?" leading question I know but I'm not a lawyer I'm a mom so I'm allowed!!!
He says "Is it the one with presents?" (meaning Nightmare Before Christmas)
"Yes, its with presents" I respond
Jake looks thoughtful and shakes his head "if it was the one without the presents I wouldn't go because it is a little scary for you but I'll go with the presents in it"
I say "Scary for me?"
He says "Yes, I dont want you to get nightmares and cry"
"Alright tough guy lets head out, thanks for thinking of me."

I forgot last couple times we have been to DL have been without daddy and he did get a little nervous on HM.
The line was huge. Always is this time of year. We could get more fastpasses at this point and I had planned on getting them for Space so we could have 4 altogether and ride later in the day but I decided Jeff and Morgan were on their own. We grab fastpasses but he chooses to stick the line out anyway. It took about a half hour so not TOO bad yet. I love the holiday makeover of this ride. I keep singing the song "Kidnap the Sandy Claws la la la la la" Oh great now I have that in my head now!!!
Isnt Sally at the end great? I wish I would have taken a picture of her. Next year!
My phone plays Edna's "Message for you Darling" when I have a message and it just went off so I check and sure enough Jeff and Morgan are in the park now looking for us.

Finally those sleepy heads woke up. It was about 11:30am.
I guess they watched part of the high school musical Christmas taping. Fun!
Jeff of course wants to go on Pirates. Well since it had been about an hour since Jake and I were on it I figured he was due to ride it again. Same thing but with both kids this time. Hold close to mommy down the drop (Morgan is a little more brave so she just touches my knee) hands up on the second drop, grab the fog from Davy Jones, throw it at the drowing man and hands up again on the way back up and over the little hump with a tiny scream.

When we get off we decide to do the Tarzan's Treehouse. I wish I had a tree tall enough to build something like this in my yard. Its pretty cool and my kids LOVE it. They could spend an hour playing with the makeshift instruments in the "camp" afterwards.
I zoomed in and took this picture of Morgan up in the treehouse.
Here is the waterfall. I was toying with the camera to not make it blurry
Jake decides he wants to go on Splash. Morgan DOES NOT! I put that in caps because she is screaming she doesn't want to get wet. We decide to split up but this time girls vs boys. Jake and Jeff to Splash. Morgan and I to Indy!
I have not been on Indy in a couple years. Morgan has been afraid of it in the past because she thought the ball part was real. she learned this from commercials and the posters of it.

Jeff took her in October and she said she sort of liked it but was a little scared. Now she wants to go on it again. This was her choice. The line was 40 minutes long and we decide to stick it out. She almost chickened out when we were boarding but buckled the seatbelt instead. I like this ride. I had forgotten how bumpy it was but it was fun. I look at Morgan and she has her eyes shut tightly with her head bobbing all over the place. "Morgan, open your eyes its so cool" She says "I will when the ball comes but nothing else"

Strange. I kept telling her to take a peek but she refused. then she said her neck was hurting. Then I tried to tell her that if she kept them open she could anticipate the way the jeep was going to go and save her neck but it didnt work. She opened her eyes slightly on the ball and screamed and put her hands on her face. She was almost crying by the time we were walking out in line saying she was NEVER going on that again. Her neck still hurt her pretty bad so I rubbed it a few minutes outside the queue. I starred over at the Riverbelle wishing it was open. I missed my Mickey pancake this morning. Its our favorite place to eat breakfast. Shoot.
The boys were waiting for us by the Rivers of America and they were not too happy either. Jake was freaking out. See he has been VERY lucky because everytime he goes on splash he just gets a little wet. This time they got SOAKED! There was still water dripping off of their jeans! It wasn't all that warm for us desert rats either. Jake was curled up in the stroller. This would happen the 1 day I dont bring an extra change of clothes for him. I seriously considered going back to the hotel he was miserable. Then I considered buying something for him to wear but Jeff talked me out of that brilliant idea. We always buy clothes out of necessity and this trip we were trying hard not to. He doesnt want to go back to the hotel (neither do I, waste the park time!!!) we decide to hang out by the Rivers of America and dry off. The sun was out and although it wasn't warm I was hoping we could get some good dry time in.
About 20 minutes later we decide we better go grab some lunch before Morgan needs to get ready to go backstage. The boys still were not completely dry but it was getting better. They wanted pizza so we head over to Pizza Port in Tomorrowland. There is a HUGE line just to get in the door so we patiently wait. It was about 15 feet from the ball.

I was shocked. Oh yeah I guess it WAS lunch time. I'm used to eating in the off hours to avoid this!!! I love their oriental chicken salad! Its so good. I think they just call it the salad of the day or special salad but its been the same salad for years there. Its really good for lunch as it fills you with healthy food but you don't feel stuffed all day long. Jeff has the chicken caesar salad and the kids each have pizza. Morgan eats like a teenage boy so she gets a big slice but jake gets the kids pizza. Cute Mickey plates.
After this we split up again. I need to get Morgan ready for dance and the boys need some manly time together. They are headed for Pirates Liar

I secretly wonder if they will come back for Morgan's performance later in the day. Morgan and I head back to the locker to get her stuff. We find a quiet spot where those old little boats used to be across from the Matterhorn to do her hair and makeup for the performance. We took our time and she chased a few ducks that thought we were eating. She saw some of her dance friends pass by and screamed at them then looked at me and said "I can't believe so and so is HERE the same time we are"

"Ummmm ok Morgan, did you forget your studio is dancing here???" She looks thoughtful. "Oh yeah" Like I'm putting makeup on her to see the princesses or something.
I have to drop her off at 2:15 under the Toon Town bridge. All the girls are excited and a little nervous. After a hug, kiss and a wish for good luck she is on her way.
Ok, I have an hour and fifteen minutes before her show. At this point I COULD meet up with the boys ORRRRR I could skip it and go shopping.

Which do you think I did???? Well, the shopping Gods were not on my side because I wanted to go down Main Street to Clothiers but it was blocked off.
