Good morning, hyenas!
Overcast and cold, cold, cold today! Brrrrr! Chance of snow in the next few days, the kids would be THRILLED!

Got DS7 off to school at a reasonable time this morning. He was happy because he had time to play a bit before the bell rang. DS3 snuck into line with the big kids (hoping I wouldn't notice, I suppose.) The big kids giggled, and DS7 tried to pull him out of line, but I told him to relax, I'd take care of it.

Once DS7's teacher opened the door to let them inside and the line began to move, I reached over to grab DS3. The little stinker shrank back behind some other kids, so they kept walking. Finally he was the last in line, and I nabbed him before he ducked in the door.

He was ticked and kept insisting he needed to go to school with his brother. As a consolation, he's watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

She got mad because it was bed time. Turd

Oh, wow. (Is there a 'little snicker' smilie?) Well, that's better than I thought; I thought you meant she was coming down with something, so good that she's not.

Soooo... we added a few new members to the family this morning.. Alex got 3 goldfish!! We decided to get them as an early Christmas present for him, and picked everything up yesterday... Then today we got the fishys! One googly eyed fish, one fat one, and one with a big tail!! Spikey, Optimus Prime, and googly eyed daddy fish. (yes... that is his name!) Feeding time was great, everyone sat around watching them eat.. Which is about all you can do with goldfish!

I know!! I was waiting for that! No one could answer me with how much to feed them, so we just dumped in some flakes.. They ate it all in a few minutes, which is how long she said it should take them to eat. She also told us we could feed them Orange segments, zucchini, peans and romaine. I had no idea!!! So that will be fun, watching the fish eat oranges.

Awwwwww... Im watching the Mad about you where they are fighting, and its the end of the episode where they make up... and she gets pg with Mabel. I love it!

cool, I didn't know they could eat other things besides flakes and maybe brine shrimp.

My brothers had fish of all kinds while I was growing up.. goldfish were food for the piranah They raised two of them from babies.. one was more agressive.. resulting in only ONE

It got to be about 5 inches long, it would get bigger if we had a bigger tank.

Messy things, icky water from fishy bits means lots of cleaning. ewwwwwwwwwww

I haven't watched Mad About You for ages... loved that show.

I'm watching some weird show on Naitonal Geographic channel called Taboo.. religious practices, DS got grossed out though and changed the channel .. it was a couple talking about drinking blood- ugh!

I wanted to watch becuase they were ging to tak about Paganism... and being "sky clad" to worship under the stars.

I like that saying "sky clad" sounds much better than NUDE.

neither did I!!! We went on "fish day" so I believe the woman I talked to was the manager.. She was great, and gave us tons of info. So far we have a 10 gallon tank. I was surprised when she told us to get one like that, I always pictured goldfish in the little bowls!

Reading it right now.. that beef wellington didn't look right to me.. I 've never had one but I watch enough cooking shows.. it looked all wrong. Maybe it wasn't prepared correctly?

Never thought of doing a cruise... hmmmmm, possiblities, possiblities.. hubby told me they have cruise ships for people on dialysis.
