Alison!!!!! I am so happy you are here... and I dont care if you leave your dirty undies on the sink... :lmao:

I worked on 2 Lady Scout Badges today - fitness & nutrition. I took a trip to Trader Joe's - you guys were right, I love that store!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 It get's 2 thumbs up.

Then I went to the skate park with DS & my nephew. I nearly busted my **** on the skateboard (I guess it has been about 25 years or so!). But I had a blast on the scooters. So I'm going tomorrow to get me a Razor Scooter! I got a few strange looks from the boys when I went out there. But it was great exercise and I had a blast. There was one hill I was afraid to go down, they cheered for me when I finally got the nerve to go down. I'll just let the rest of the mom's sit in their cars reading books. It was sooooo fun and the scooter's are so easy to ride. I do believe that I've found my new hobby. Actually I told several of the boys that I was having so much fun I was going to invite all of the mom's down to try it and we were going to take over the skate park!! :scared1:

They just built a new skate park in our town, it's only been open for a few weeks, but I can tell I'll be spending quite a bit of time there.

:lmao: :lmao: I can sooo picture you doing that! Sounds like crazy fun, but I would be the first person to eat cement... I tried to stand on a skateboard once, and the dang thing flew right out from under me!:rotfl2:

There you are!! What's up??

Actually leaving dirty undies on the sink would gross me out! However, I've been known to wear clean undies on my head while folding the laundry!

:lmao: If I did that, I might get some odd looks at the laundry mat...but I have done it at home...and so have the kids... They think I am crazy!:lmao:

I used to skateboard all the time when I was a teenager. But the Razor scooters are so much easier. Anyone could ride on one of them. I had only been on DS's one time before, right when he first got it. I wasn't jumping jumps or anything like that, but I did go up and down the hills and stuff like that. Not bad for my first day. Plus they feel way safer than a skateboard, you're only about 1 inch off the ground and if you start to fall you're already hanging on the the handle, so you just jump off and pull it up with your hands.

So does that make me the idiot mom or the cool mom now?:lmao: Who cares, I had a blast!

Thats all that matters, as long as you have fun, right? You go girl!:woohoo: :woohoo:

I went to Citywalk today. My bf and I tried to watch a movie but their credit card machines were broken. We tried to use the Fandango machines located on the side of the building too but they also wouldn't work. There were a lot of frustrated people because they were only accepting cash only and none of us had it.

We ate lunch at Cafe Tu Tu Tango. It wasn't busy at all and not a lot of people. There was only one other couple eating inside besides us. :confused3 Here's some pics of our food:

Everything here is appetizer portions but it's not expensive. It's also very filling. :)

These are the beef and cheese empinadas with a sour cream and pico de gallo sauce.

Their calamari is yummy and has a really good dipping sauce.

This is the 5 cheese pizza. It also tastes good with chicken. :)

Sadly though I'm going to have to wait for my hair to get a little bit longer so I can make pony tails through the leg holes! :upsidedow

Looks yummy pix!:thumbsup2 Bummer about the movie, I hate when the machines are down, like anyone carries cash anymore!

You could take some doll hair, and sew it into the undies, and they could be your laundry panties...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I know! We really wanted to see a movie too. We stopped at an asian market on the way home. We got some chocolate pocky and some snacks.

Just quit posting photos of greasy, yummy calorie laden food Pix! I had vegetarian pizza, unsweetened applesauce and organic raw pumpkin seeds for dinner! I'm working on that nutrition badge....egad what was I thinking? I think the pastry baking badge might have been a better choice.

I'm probably going a little overboard, but this week they announced that 40% of all cancer can be avoided by diet & exercise. I've been a little lax on both this last year, so it's time to start living right again!

I told my oncologist that I thought the healthy food & exercise didn't help me any because I got cancer anyway. He told me that maybe my body had been trying to grow abnormal cells every since I was a kid and because I did those things I was able to make it to 40 without getting cancer. I never really thought about it that way. So I'm just going to look at it that way now. Maybe I would have had cancer when I was 20 instead. So if I can spend the next 40 years doing healthy things for my body, then maybe I can make it another 40 years!

I saw this on the freeway on our way home. It's the ultimate rice rocket! :rotfl:

It makes me want to sing that song from Sesame Street: "One of these things is not like the other, one of these just doesn't belong..." :teeth:

Yeah... we have tons of those crap mobiles rolling around here.:sad2: Where dh works is HUGE in the street racing world... Its the most popular area in the state for them, and on the weekends there are tons of cops in that area. I am especially fond of the mismatched body parts...:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
