I know! We really wanted to see a movie too. We stopped at an asian market on the way home. We got some chocolate pocky and some snacks.

Now, now Pixster, we really don't need to hear about you and your boyfriend getting some pocky! Remember this is a family board. J/K!! Aren't those stick cookies things dipped in chocolate? I think I've had them before.


DS just came in and told me some good news! If I buy him a NEW Razor scooter then he will give me his old one so I have something to ride at the skate park! What a deal, should I take him up on it? Or should I go buy me a new one?

Yeah... we have tons of those crap mobiles rolling around here. Where dh works is HUGE in the street racing world... Its the most popular area in the state for them, and on the weekends there are tons of cops in that area. I am especially fond of the mismatched body parts...

Whenever I see a rice rocket I think of the Poser Mobile commercial.

Just quit posting photos of greasy, yummy calorie laden food Pix! I had vegetarian pizza, unsweetened applesauce and organic raw pumpkin seeds for dinner! I'm working on that nutrition badge....egad what was I thinking? I think the pastry baking badge might have been a better choice.

I'm probably going a little overboard, but this week they announced that 40% of all cancer can be avoided by diet & exercise. I've been a little lax on both this last year, so it's time to start living right again!

I told my oncologist that I thought the healthy food & exercise didn't help me any because I got cancer anyway. He told me that maybe my body had been trying to grow abnormal cells every since I was a kid and because I did those things I was able to make it to 40 without getting cancer. I never really thought about it that way. So I'm just going to look at it that way now. Maybe I would have had cancer when I was 20 instead. So if I can spend the next 40 years doing healthy things for my body, then maybe I can make it another 40 years!

Alison... You are so smart. and you really make me want to exercise..

my first car was a teal green ford escort... I had it for 2 whole months before I drove it under a truck!

I drove a used early 90's Ford Aerostar for a while and then I drove my older sister's 96' camry for 7 or 8 years. I took care of the camry and my parents would lecture my siblings about taking care of their cars. I didn't get a new car until this year and I bought it myself. I used to have friends who were spoiled rotten....their parents pay their credit card bills every month, got them cars all the time and they were still unhappy.

I remember last year telling Shawna about my bf's first car. He had a used Dodge Neon and it broke down on the way home the day he got it! They had to return it to the dealer because the engine was busted and smoke came out.

Then he got another used 95 Neon and he drove it for a few years. He hated it because he didn't drive crazy or anything, but every month he was changing the brakes. He also had to repair the head gasket twice and that car was just a money pit. He finally got rid of it and he was so thrilled!

I had a 95 ford escort when I was 17 (in 98)... then I had a 94 sentra when i wrecked that one. (99).. and my first new car was a 99 Ford escort... BUT.. I bought every car my self.. I paid cash for my first car, but I bought it from my dad, so I got a pretty good deal on it!

So today we went to the ballet Giselle. It was so pretty. Morgan was on the edge of her seat the whole time! 2 of her teachers dance for Ballet Arizona so they were in there!
